Fantastic house, excellently furnished and fully equipped, lovely pool and fabulous views. There is one major downside; the road to the house. For fifteen minutes the road goes uphill, a B-road, often too narrow for 2 cars, poorly maintained with big potholes and no protection along the side. No lighting at night. In 1st gear, crawling up extremely slowly is the only way. You get used to it, but if you're a bit of a tense driver, we don't think it's fun. You don't just go to the bakery in Velez Malaga for a fresh sandwich, for example. And that gives a somewhat "trapped" feeling on top of the mountain. We enjoyed the house immensely, but think that this should be communicated much more clearly, so that people know what is going on before booking.
