El Cortijo (the house of the original mill owner), is located opposite the mill house and has 4 bedrooms, with 8 comfortable sleeping places.
This beautiful old building used to be the home of the mill owner, but has been vacant for 15 years.
It has now been restored retaining many of its original features and offers luxury holiday accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms.
All upstairs bedrooms have beautiful views over the valley and have high beamed ceilings.
The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and on the same floor there is a further double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a full bathroom.
Downstairs there is a well-equipped kitchen, a large sitting / dining room and another room that has been set up to be used as a TV room or a double bedroom.
The large private terrace is accessible from the kitchen.
El Cortijo is located on the Molino La Ratonera estate.
Our unique, charming private estate features two water mills, a 16th century mill tower and a 6 meter waterfall, and is located in a lush river valley.

Next to the river and the waterfall is the old water mill from 1894, where the bar, reception and our private residence are located.
Furthermore, there are six independent guest accommodations on our property, all restored with attention to detail, love and care.
Andalusian charm has been preserved throughout and each property has its own private outdoor space.
At the front of our site is the eco-friendly separate kidney-shaped swimming pool with pool deck and sun loungers.
In the lower watermill you will find a library and a fitness room.

On the ground floor of the Molenhuis there are restored mill machines and we have a private bar for our guests.
Outside the Mill House is a large paved courtyard and to the side is the original mill arch with the restored mill wheel inside.
This courtyard is shaded by two mature vines and here is a terrace with built-in barbecue.
