La Cocina (the Kitchen) is a cosy two-storey detached house.
This two-storey house is based on the old yard kitchen, where meals were prepared for the 20 people who worked in the mill in its heyday.
The building has retained the size and style of the original, but has been moved up a few metres.
La Cocina offers comfortable accommodation for two people.
The house is entered on the upper floor where you will find the kitchen and the sitting area.
A wood burning stove gives the house a cosy atmosphere in the cooler months.
Downstairs there is a bedroom and a spacious bathroom with shower and bidet.
From the bedroom French doors lead to the balcony with table and chairs.
La Cocina is located on the estate Molino La Ratonera.
Our unique, charming private estate features two water mills, a 16th century mill tower and a 6 meter waterfall, and is located in a lush river valley.
Located in the northwest of the province of Granada, in the heart of Andalusia's rural interior.
Next to the river and the waterfall is the old water mill from 1894, where the bar, reception and our private residence are located.
Furthermore, there are six independent guest accommodations on our property, all restored with attention to detail, love and care.
Andalusian charm has been preserved throughout and each property has its own private outdoor space.
At the front of our site is the eco-friendly separate kidney-shaped swimming pool with pool deck and sun loungers.
In the lower watermill you will find a library and a fitness room.

Despite its tranquility and seclusion, it is the perfect holiday location as it is well connected with the most popular towns in Andalusia and the popular villages of Iznajar, Algarinejo and Zagra.
On the ground floor of the Molenhuis there are restored mill machines and we have a private bar for our guests.
Outside the Mill House is a large paved courtyard and to the side is the original mill arch with the restored mill wheel inside.
This courtyard is shaded by two mature vines and here is a terrace with built-in barbecue.
