We had a wonderful family holiday at Villa Catherina El Portet (parents, 4 adult children, and partner of 1 child). Excellent reception and tour by the Dutch-speaking manager. The house is very spacious, because there are two floors with separate entrances, it was convenient for us to divide into an elderly and young people's section.
Enjoyed the beautiful location and the view and the private pool, what a luxury. The maintenance was well arranged, someone regularly came by for that. Good beds and a good night's sleep with the air conditioning. Due to the height differences, it is useful to be good on your feet, and for groceries at a large supermarket, a car is actually indispensable. Moraira is a cozy town, plenty to do for young and old. Via a staircase of 75 steps you can easily reach the El Portet beach, which was very busy in our period. There are also restaurants and a shop nearby, if you don't want to go that far. The centre of Moraira is very lively, and the young people could also enjoy themselves at night. It was the dream holiday for our family that we had hoped for, and that we had planned for so long.
