In the late 1960s, my father sailed with a boat via rivers and canals to the south of France.
That's how he ends up on the Etang de Berre... falls in love with Provence and creates “La Côte Plage”.
A wonderful place right on the water, with an average of 3000 hours of sunshine per year (yes, yes, really... thanks to the famous Mistral!).
What more could you wish for, I finally followed his example in 1981 and now - just like my now adult children Mike and Marc - also live among the "cigales".. like a god in France!!
