La Côte Plage is located near Istres, in the heart of Provence. This charming domain, located directly on the north coast of the étang de Berre, is open all year round. The étang de Berre is the largest salty lake in Europe, also often called "the sea of Berre". Via the canal at Martigues, you will reach the Mediterranean Sea. The distance to Istres is only 3 km. It is a cozy small town with many shops and also many nice restaurants. And don't forget Tuesday morning, when there is a market throughout the center, an ideal time to walk around and drink a nice cup of coffee on a beautiful terrace in the sun.

Children will not be bored, they can swim in the lake or in the pool. Trampoline, ping-pong table, basketball, jeu de boules balls and various board games are at their disposal. Remember to bring your surfboards and your boats - without any supplement - to take full advantage of this huge inland sea. Even if there is no mistral, there is a sea breeze on the lake every afternoon. For golf enthusiasts, there are several golf clubs nearby.

The nearest sandy beach is at Istres, 3 km away. The beaches by the sea, at Fos sur Mer and Martigues are about 12 km away. The two train stations SNCF Miramas and Istres are about 5 km away. More lines go via Miramas station. Marseille-Provence airport is only 35 km away. Unfortunately, there is no bus from there to Istres or Miramas. However, you can easily rent a car there for the duration of your stay. Let's not forget that due to the geographical location of la Côte Plage, all the riches of Provence are nearby. "Les Alpilles" with "les Baux de Provence", "Fontvieille" and "Saint Rémy de Provence" and also "la Côte Bleue" are only a 20-minute drive away. In less than an hour's drive you are in "la Camargue" and "le Luberon". Even the cities of "Arles", "Aix en Provence", "Marseille" and "Avignon" are close by (between 40 and 60 min. drive).

In the late 1960s my father sailed by boat via rivers and canals to the South of France. This is how he ends up on the Etang de Berre .. loses his heart to Provence and creates "La Côte Plage". A lovely place right on the water, an average of 3000 hours of sunshine a year (yes, yes, really .. thanks to the famous Mistral!), What more do you want, I eventually follow his example in 1981 and now live together with my children Mike and Marc - also among the "cigales". like a god in France !! We ask for a deposit of 50%, the remaining amount must be paid 30 days before arrival

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

"La Cote Plage" is a charming private residential estate in the heart of PROVENCE, 3km north of the attractive town "Istres', opposite the authentic fishing village of" Saint Chamas. " 5 houses in total, in the middle nauur, built against a hill, each with private terrace and stunning views over the Etang de Berre, the largest saltwater lake in Europe, which opens onto the Mediterranean Sea is at Martigues, also called "La Petite Venise". Swimming pool, trampoline, ping pong, barbecue, etc. are available to you and your children. Of course you can also swim in the lake. Sufplanken and small boats you can take charge. There is plenty of space, sometimes it seems like all of us is.Voor more golfers are wonderful golf courses in the buurt.Door the central location of the park, you can, without having to drive too much, lots of Provence see . Alpilles with the famous: Les Baux, St. Remy de Provence and Fontvieille, La Côte Bleue and the beaches of Fos sur Mer and Martigues are less than 20 minutes away. Cozy cottage of 35m2 suitable for max 4 people.
You enter through the terrace into the living room with 2 single beds of 90x190 cm, open kitchen corner with bar and dining table. A few steps lead to the bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and to a bedroom with a double bed of 140x190 cm.
In the kitchenette you have a large fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker and of course everything else you need to eat and cook.
There are blankets and pillows in the cottage, you can rent sheets or bring your own.

Beautiful view over the lake and the fishing village of Saint Chamas from the lovely terrace (25m2 !!) with garden furniture and a small barbecue.

Also ideal for renting several houses with friends. Everyone keeps their privacy and yet close together!

Ideal for windsurfers !! If there is no mistral, almost every day, in the afternoon setting up a breeze ...
