Latitude

Welcome to Latitude!
Our garden is located in the lake-rich area around Torestorp, hidden in the forest where there is still peace and nature and where deer roam the grounds. On a hill near the edge of the forest is Latitude, a log cabin from 1805. This authentic log cabin was moved from Dalarna in central Sweden to our garden and rebuilt in 2021, equipped with all modern conveniences. In the log cabin you can see many details of the original house.

There is a spacious living room with sleeping loft and wood stove, spacious fully equipped kitchen, a total of 3 bedrooms and a sleeping loft, a washing machine and a bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. There is a flat screen with chrome cast and free WiFi (fiber optic).
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, oven, hob (induction), dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle. Latitude has a spacious sunny veranda of 120 m2 with BBQ.
There is a private campfire area with simple benches and seating.

Within walking distance (2 km) is Lake Sandsjön with its sandy beach and jetty around the shallow end, making Latitude very suitable for families with children.

Table tennis table, table football, darts, shuffleboard, trampoline and a football field are available on site. Own canoe rental (35 euros per canoe per day), a total of 4 aluminum Canadian canoes (2-3 persons) including life jackets, paddles, waterproof barrels and canoe trailers for multi-day trips. Also rental fishing boat with outboard motor via nearby boat rental.
Our holiday farm runs largely on solar energy and wood and has a charging point for your electric car.

Pets are not allowed in Latitude during July and August, but pets are allowed the rest of the year. Do you have a dog and would you like to take it with you during the summer holidays? Then you can go to the Lycka holiday home, which is also located on our property.

We speak Dutch, English and Swedish and are happy to share our fantastic place with you!
