Grannars

Grannars is a cozy Swedish home, suitable for up to 6 people. There are two bedrooms in the house plus one (hardy) guesthouse in the garden. Central to home is the spacious kitchen.
The 'garden' is 1.5 acres overlooking the hills and a babbling brook.
On the south side of the house is a spacious porch and the garden (in summer) all day in the sun.

Location
Grannars lies in the friendly province of Värmland in a very wooded area with lakes and hills. A place for nature lovers!
The forest begins as you step out the door, a lake is 5 km away. Cycling is fine on paved roads and mountain biking is great on the dirt roads, we have some nice trails for you!
The possibilities in the area are truly endless, think for example: hiking, swimming, wildlife safari, sauna, skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, build huts, canoe, fires lit, mushroom picking, jam and learn to make juice, cooking workshop on wood fire, mountain biking sunbathing etc
But you can also enjoy delicious in the garden of your book!

Wildlife
The animals that we see regularly are elk, foxes, cranes, deer and very quiet even if we are a beaver! Also several owl species found here.

What is there to do?
The village Sunne is 15 km and 80 km Karlstad.
Within a radius of 50 km there are three ski areas. Sunne is including a Waterpark, museums and cozy shops.
