Grannars

Come and enjoy this cozy Swedish holiday home! Grannars can accommodate up to 6 people. There are 2 bedrooms in the house plus a (hardy) guest house in the garden. The focal point in the house is the spacious kitchen with wood stove that keeps the whole house warm in winter.
The 1.5 acre 'garden' has views of the hills and there is a path to the babbling brook.
On the south side of the house is a spacious veranda and the garden is (in summer) in the sun all day. There is an outdoor fire pit and picnic table and on the porch a garden set.

Location
Grannars is located in the friendly province of Värmland in a very wooded area with lakes and hills. A place for the true nature lover! 
The forest starts when you step out the door, a swimming lake is 5 km away. Cycling is fine on the paved roads and mountain biking is great on the dirt roads, we have some nice routes for you! 
The possibilities in the area are truly endless, such as: hiking, swimming, wildlife safari, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, building huts, canoe trip, lighting fires, picking mushrooms and berries, cooking workshop on wood fire, mountain biking, sunbathing, etc
But of course you can also enjoy your book in the garden!

Wildlife
The animals we regularly see here are moose, foxes, cranes, roe deer and if we are very quiet even a beaver! Various owl species can also be found here. 

What else is there to do?
The village of Sunne is 15 km away and Karlstad is 80 km away. 
There are 3 ski resorts within a radius of 50 km. In Sunne there is a water park, several museums and cozy shops.
