Holiday villa Värmland is located at the foot of the Kalhyttan, just beyond the last row of treetops. With Lake Färnsjön just a stone's throw away, the location of this luxury holiday home is magical. It is therefore not surprising that this house is the ultimate holiday destination for many people for walking, cycling, boating and completely relaxing in the beautiful Swedish nature. Your holiday in Sweden has started!

Typically Swedish
Holiday home Värmland is a spacious, luxuriously furnished villa in typical Swedish style. And that is immediately noticeable upon arrival. Like many Swedish houses, Villa Värmland is a real wooden house. The fresh, green color gives the house a unique character and ensures that the holiday villa fits seamlessly into the beautiful surroundings.

Once inside you will understand even better why building with wood is so popular in Sweden. It is not only sustainable and better for a healthy living environment, but above all it looks very cozy. The villa is spacious for 13 people with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, several spacious sitting areas and a large open kitchen.

Design
The interior is modern and fully equipped. For example, on the ground floor you will find a wonderfully spacious sitting area with a wood-burning stove where you can sit comfortably with the whole family or group of friends. The large open kitchen is perfect if you like to dine for a long time. There is a long scaffolding wooden table with room for everyone and in the kitchen itself you will find all the equipment you need for a real star meal: a 5-burner induction hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and a gourmet set for 12 people. On the ground floor there are also 2 bedrooms: 1x adult bedroom with double bed and 1x children's bedroom with triple bunk bed. In addition to the fixed bedrooms, there is also a separate television room with a sofa bed, so that 2 extra beds can be created if necessary. The bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a toilet, luxury bubble bath, shower cabin and double sink.

The upper floor is also spacious and generously laid out and has everything you need to completely unwind. This floor consists of 2 spacious bedrooms, both with a different color theme. The yellow bedroom is a luxurious double bedroom with a dormer window overlooking the vast lake. The blue bedroom has 4 beds, including 1 double bed. On this floor you will also find a small play area, a separate toilet and a luxurious bathroom with bath, double shower and two sinks.

Good WiFi is available throughout the house and Dutch, German and English channels can be received on the television.

Stuga
For the optimal holiday experience, we have transformed the Stuga into a wellness area with a beautiful view of the lake, especially for our guests. Here you will find a wonderful sauna, relaxed sitting area and a shower. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the Stuga through another door.

around the house
The large garden around the house offers plenty of opportunities for play and relaxation in addition to privacy. Do you feel like being active or doing something fun with the kids? Feel free to grab our own boat 'Piraatje' and go out on the lake! Or enjoy yourself on your own playing field with trampoline, swings, play towers and a football field.

Enjoy good conversations on our terrace in wonderfully spacious sofas with a view of the lake. Thanks to the location of the terrace you can enjoy the sunlight all day on sunny days. The experience is complete with the fully equipped gas BBQ that is free to use for all our guests.

Area
Although there is plenty to do around the house, we advise everyone to explore the area. With the endless forests, babbling brooks and an unprecedented tranquility, nature is truly beautiful. And don't be surprised if you come across a deer, fox or even a moose during a walk!

For the real adventurers we recommend the multisport arena Kalhyttan. It is located almost behind the house and offers activities for everyone. Go skiing or cross-country skiing in the winter or indulge yourself in the summer with disc golf, roller skiing and beautiful mountain bike and cycling routes. The possibilities at Kalhyttan are varied and challenging for every level!

Are you more a fan of culture? Then it is certainly nice to visit the Wasa Knäckebröd museum in Filipstad. The world-famous Swedish crackers are produced here to this day. The museum is not big, but the entrance is free and therefore worth a short visit. It is also nice to take a trip to the larger cities in the area such as Karlstad and Kristinehamn.
