Beautiful, well-maintained low-rise house of 150 m2 from 2010 on a cul-de-sac. In 2021 our house had a major overhaul and is back in top condition. The house is located in Latour in southern Paramaribo, near the Indira Ghandiweg and Coesewijnebrug. The house has three bedrooms and two verandas. Due to its location on the northeast, the front has a refreshing breeze. The wind can pull through the house nicely.
You can enjoy the rising sun and hear the birds chirping. After 11 am there is shade at the front and the hammock invites you to relax.
The 360 m2 terrain is fenced. The garden has flowering plants and fruit trees.
You can quickly reach the city by bus, car or bicycle. Outgoing roads, mall and covered markets are a short distance away. Various local shops, banks, bakery, polyclinic and pharmacy are just around the corner.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

All costs included in the rental price. This also applies to Wi-Fi.

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

    In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
    In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
    In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
    In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
    In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
    If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

Luxury house complete with garden and garage. Built in 2010 by Lilian and Jenny Mettendaf on the property of their late mother, Mrs. Promes. The ladies are born and raised near this house, but rooted in the Netherlands. The house has a Surinamese appearance and a European design.

Experience the Surinamese living in a residential neighborhood of Paramaribo. Have a chat with the neighbors. Alternating rest days with trips to the historic center (UNESCO World Heritage), excursions to river or plantation. Various one or more day trips to the tropical rainforest confront you with unspoiled nature, waterfalls and small settlements with Maroons or Amerindians.
The car is in the driveway, but sheltered from the sun in the garage. There are also bicycles to explore the area or the (Sunday) market to visit. Buses to the city and to Lelydorp are 200 meters away.
