Villa Malaïka

Villa Malaika is a modern contemporary style villa with a beautiful design. The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet. The villa can sleep a total of 6 people (not counting the children who still sleep in cots). The villa has an infinity pool that is 10 meters long by 4.5 meters wide. The infinity pool has a black mosaic tile, so that the color of the water blends in with the sea. The effect is astonishing. The pool has an automatic cover with solar cells, so that the pool can heat itself through the cover. However, there is a heat pump as a back-up, so that a temperature of up to 30 degrees can be guaranteed. The pool has a built-in staircase and is illuminated.

The layout of the house is as follows:
At street level there is off road parking for several cars. As you enter the villa, you will be amazed by the views of the sea, the mountains, which are covered with snow for part of the year, and the Moorish castle of Salobrena which is illuminated at night. It's like a postcard. The spacious master bedroom is located on the entrance level. This bedroom has a sitting area with 2 comfortable armchairs and a TV plus DVD player. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a covered porch, the ideal place to enjoy your morning coffee and the sun while taking in the stunning views. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with double sinks, a spacious bathtub and a walk-in closet. 

Stairs leading down take you to the main level of the villa, where you will find the open plan living area. This open-plan living area has high ceilings with high windows, so you can enjoy the views of the pool, sea and mountains. The living room has a wood burning stove to keep you warm during cool winter evenings. The kitchen is modern, has a cooking island and is fully equipped. Since the layout is open, you can keep in touch with the people in the living room while cooking. The living room opens onto the pool terrace, so you can easily walk from inside to outside.

There are 2 bedrooms on this main level of the villa. One has a double bed (160 centimeters) and the other has 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have direct access to the pool terrace and fantastic views. The bedrooms have electric shutters. There is a family bathroom for the use of both bedrooms with a large walk-in shower and double sinks. There is also a guest toilet.

On the terrace there is plenty of space to enjoy the pool, the sun, the view and to have delicious meals. There are 6 sunbeds, a sofa and a dining table with chairs. There is also a gas barbecue in the villa. The villa has central hot and cold air conditioning, ensuring your comfort all year round.

The beach, restaurants and shops are less than 10 minutes away by car. Guests of this villa have free and unlimited use of the well-maintained communal swimming pool, children's pool, tennis court, playground and football field. Here you will also find a snack bar which is open part of the year (high season).  

There are several picturesque coastal towns nearby that are well worth a visit. The beautiful city of Granada with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Albaycin and the Alhambra Palace are less than a 50-minute drive away. The ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are 1 hour and 15 minutes away, so you can ski in the morning and relax on the beach or in the heated pool in the afternoon. Malaga is also nearby and is well worth a visit with its great climate, museums, shops and restaurants.
