Villa Las Arenas

Villa Las Arenas is a spacious and bright villa, located in the urbanization El Monte de los Almendros in Salobreña, on the Costa Tropical of Granada. The flat plot of 1,119m2 has commanding views of the 15th century Moorish castle, the mountains and Mediterranean Sea. The village and the sea are only 5 minutes away by car.

The house is located in a quiet cul de sac with hardly any traffic. There is ample space for parking 4-5 cars. The ground floor has an open design. When entering the villa you immediately notice that the sunlight comes in from almost everywhere in the house. The covered patio illuminates the entire ground floor. The modern kitchen is well equipped with all modern appliances as well as a cooking island with a number of bar stools, so you can enjoy a drink or a chat while cooking. This villa has an open kitchen that connects to the dining room with a large wooden table for up to 8 people. The ground floor is adapted for wheelchair users. On the ground floor you will find a bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, adapted for wheelchair users.

A spiral staircase leads to the first floor where the other 3 bedrooms are, two bedrooms have two single beds and one bedroom has a king size bed. The bedrooms all have their own bathroom, two of which are en suite. From one of the bedrooms there is access to an outdoor terrace. From the living room you enter the covered terrace, the garden and the private heated swimming pool through sliding glass doors. The terrace has a stone built BBQ and gas BBQ, with a table for 8 for alfresco dining or just breakfast while admiring the view. Access to the garden and infinity pool is also suitable for wheelchair users. The size of the heated saltwater pool is 5 mx 9 m and the depth is approx. 180-220cm. Entering the pool via the steps there is an area approximately 130cm deep where disabled people can sit before reaching the deepest part of the pool.

The whole villa has hot and cold air conditioning. The villa has WIFI and many international TV channels.Villa Las Arenas is located on the beautiful hill Monte de los Almendros. The recreation area of the hill is within walking distance. Guests have free use of the communal tennis court, large swimming pool, children's pool, football field and playground. In addition, a small restaurant is open in the summer months.

The beach, restaurants and shops are a 5 minute drive away. The airports of Malaga, Granada or Almeria are easily accessible. There is much to see and do: the Sierra Nevada ski resort, where you can also take beautiful walks, is less than 75 minutes away, so you can ski in the morning (December to April) and in the afternoon relax on the beach or by the pool. There is a golf course 10 minutes drive away which is right on the beach. The picturesque mountain villages of Las Alpujarras are nearby, as are the beautiful cities of Granada with the world famous Alhambra palaces and Malaga with its historic old town, cathedral and Picasso Museum.

Salobreña benefits from the subtropical microclimate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of over 20 degrees C.
