Villa Delfin Blanco

Villa Delfín Blanco is located in the charming urbanization Costa Aguilera Mar in Salobreña on the Costa Tropical of Granada. The villa offers impressive views of the sea, the coast and the picturesque whitewashed town of Salobreña, built at the foot of the imposing Moorish castle.

The villa is south facing and is located on the coast. The only sounds you will hear are the waves, the birds and the crickets. It is an ideal place to relax and unwind. All rooms offer direct or partial views of the Mediterranean Sea.

The villa has three floors. The first floor is accessible via a staircase or ramp from the street. The view is impressive from every floor.

On the ground floor is the entrance to the garage, it is not accessible to guests, a washing machine and an extra fridge.

One floor up, you will find the living room with a comfortable set of sofas and armchairs, a table for 6 people, and a modern kitchen. From this place you can enjoy the beautiful view that the villa offers. The modern open kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals and also has a breakfast bar with two stools. From the kitchen you have access to a terrace where the gas barbecue is located. This terrace is also connected to the pool and the main terrace. The kitchen communicates with the bright living room with sea views and access to the large terrace with a heated infinity pool of 8m x 4m. There is a guest toilet in the living room, directly opposite the elevator.

The bedrooms are located on the top floor, which can be reached both via the wide staircase and by elevator. On this floor there are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a bed of 160 x 200 m. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with double sinks and a shower. From this bedroom with frontal sea view you have access to a terrace that runs along the side wall and is connected to the other bedrooms. The other two bedrooms also have a 160 x 200 m bed. These bedrooms have access to the side terrace which connects the three bedrooms from the outside, both also have a window with sea views. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with double sinks, bathtub and shower.

All rooms have access to one of the villa's many terraces, from where you can enjoy the impressive views of the vast Mediterranean Sea and, if you are lucky, see dolphins passing by. Both floors have central air conditioning. The air conditioning is activated via a wall control in the living room. There is also a ceiling fan in the lounge.

There is wifi throughout the house and a flat screen TV with international channels. We ask that you pay close attention to the children when using the infinity pool.

For safety reasons, it is forbidden to sit on the edge of the roadside.

The airports of Malaga, Granada or Almería are easily accessible.

If you want to go out for a day, there is plenty to do and explore. A walk of about 20 minutes along the coastal path will take you to the small fishing village of La Caleta which has a beach, local shop and three bars/restaurants. By car you can reach the heart of Salobreña in just 5 minutes with many more shops, restaurants, tapas bars and beaches. A little further afield are the towns of Almunecar and Motril (15 minutes' drive) or Nerja (30 minutes' drive) with excellent restaurants, markets, museums, a water park, watersports centre, caves and castles to explore.

The Sierra Nevada ski resort is less than 75 minutes away, where you can also take hikes so you can ski in the morning (December to April) and relax on the beach or by the pool in the afternoon. There is a golf course 10 minutes away, right on the beach. Nearby are Las Alpujarras with its picturesque mountain villages, as well as the beautiful cities of Granada, with the world-famous Alhambra Palace (50 minutes) and Malaga, with its historic centre, the cathedral and the Picasso museum (60 minutes).

Salobreña benefits from the subtropical microclimate with over 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of over 20 degrees C. For those interested in art, architecture and history, this region offers the best that Andalusia has to offer. You will be enchanted and overwhelmed by the beauty of the region. Small white villages on the hills, tropical nature, the sounds of flamenco and of course the richness and variety of Spanish cuisine.
