Villa La Grande Bleue

Villa La Grande Bleue is a beautiful modern villa, completed in November 2023, located on the higher part of Monte de Los Almendros and offering grandiose views of the Moorish Castle of Salobreña and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.

This villa has four bedrooms, two bedrooms with 2 single beds and two bedrooms with double beds. All bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom. The design is modern and spacious with huge panoramic windows that merge the indoor and outdoor spaces into one living area. The house is oriented east-southeast, which means you will experience beautiful sunrises and enjoy the early morning sun in the house. The outdoor areas and swimming pool have sun all day.

Located at the end of a secluded cul-de-sac, the location offers a lot of peace and quiet. At street level there is secure parking for three cars. From the moment you enter the villa you can enjoy the view this villa offers. The top floor consists of an impressive entrance gallery above the living room and two bedrooms. The first bedroom has 2 twin beds (0.90 x 2.00m) and an en-suite bathroom with double sinks and rain shower. The double bedroom (bed size is 1.80 x 2.00m) on this floor is located on the corner of the house and has floor-to-ceiling windows on the two exterior sides to make the most of the incredible views. You literally feel like the room is floating in the air and you wake up to a beautiful view of the sea from the king size bed. This bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom with rain shower and double sink and a private terrace where you can relax in peace.

An open staircase leads to the living room which is open, cozy, light and voluminous. The kitchen has a large island with integrated hob, sink, dishwasher and sufficient cupboards. From the kitchen you can also enjoy beautiful views of the beach and the sea while preparing delicious local products. The kitchen is equipped with a huge American fridge/freezer, oven and microwave and has all the cooking utensils you need. Adjacent is a utility room with washing machine and dryer. A large dining table for eight people separates the kitchen from the living room, which has 5 meter high ceilings and offers beautiful views of the Castle of Salobreña and the mountains. The living room has two large sofas and a large smart TV with international channels. The entire kitchen and living room have floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that open directly onto the pool terrace, allowing seamless movement between the indoor and outdoor living areas.

A door separates the living room from a third bedroom with two single beds (0.90 x 2.00m) and panoramic sliding windows giving direct access to the pool terrace. This bedroom has a naturally lit bathroom with rain shower and double sinks. A second double bedroom (the bed size is 1.80 x 2.00m) is located in the corner of the house and has large windows to the outside. This bedroom has a large, naturally lit bathroom with bath, Italian rain shower and double sinks, a king size bed and panoramic windows on two sides providing direct access to the pool terrace. There is a small guest toilet between the two bedrooms.

The outdoor area on this level offers a large terrace surrounding the beautiful 10 x 4 meter infinity pool with sun cover. There is sufficient garden furniture, sun loungers for eight people and mechanized sun blinds above the kitchen and living room windows. It is the perfect place to spend your days enjoying the views and relaxing, or to dine al fresco in the evenings looking at the illuminated castle from the outdoor dining table.

Each room in the villa has individual, integrated air conditioning that can be controlled via a simple wall unit, spacious built-in wardrobes, curtains and blackout blinds and there is fast fiber optic WiFi throughout the house. Due to the layout of the bedrooms over two floors, Villa La Grande Bleue is ideally suited for two small families or groups.

Villa La Grande Bleue is located approximately one kilometer from the communal recreational facilities that guests can use free of charge. There is a large swimming pool, a bar with snacks in summer, a children's pool, a tennis court (with floodlights), a football field and a basketball hoop. Further up the hill there is also a floodlit paddle tennis court. The center of Salobreña is a ten minute drive away and the main beach is a few minutes away offering a wide variety of beach restaurants and bars.
