Paraiso del Mar (Casa P) in the authentic seaside resort of La Herradura is a spacious three-room corner apartment of over 115 square meters with a spacious terrace around the apartment also of approximately 115 square meters.

The overwhelming panoramic views of the sea and the Cerro Cordo nature reserve make Casa P a wonderful holiday home on the Costa Tropical. You can enjoy peace, space and entertainment here, an 18-minute walk from Playa de La Herradura with a great range of restaurants and chiringuitos. By car you can get there in approx. 6 minutes.

La Herradura means, translated into English, the horseshoe. The shape of the bay, sandwiched between two mountain foothills, Punta de la Mona and Carmenes del Mar, is spectacular. This creates magical moments, especially at sunrise and sunset. During the day, you can enjoy the surf with beautiful skies and impressive natural beauty.

The guests of Casa P can use the outdoor swimming pool that belongs to our complex Las Terrazas del Mar. There is a separate children's pool. The apartment is on the third floor and has been renovated and completely redecorated in recent months.

Spacious terrace of 115 m2
Casa P. has a free parking space in the garage, WiFi, air conditioning and an elevator. It is wonderful to relax on the terrace, which is partly covered. At the outdoor dining table for six people it is nice to have lunch and dinner. You can relax on a luxurious lounge set, sun loungers and for those who dream of the ultimate holiday feeling, there is a hammock on the terrace.

The apartment has an open living room of over 45 square meters, an open kitchen and three bedrooms. The master bedroom with an extra wide and extra long double bed has a private bathroom with walk-in shower and has direct access to the terrace. This also applies to the second bedroom with two single beds. The third bedroom also has two double beds. In the second bathroom there is also a walk-in shower.

The open kitchen with induction hob stove is fully equipped (dishwasher) and in the utility room is a new washing machine, which is easy to operate. In the salon there is a nice, large sofa for six people, 2 Barcelona chairs, a dining table for 6 people and of course there is a TV.

Accessibility
Malaga Airport is located 65 kilometers from La Herradura. There are several daily buses from Alsa to La Herradura and vice versa. 

Sportsmanlike
La Herradura works like a magnet for sporty guests. The Alboran Sea with its rugged coast and bays is a true paradise for fans of diving, surfing and snorkeling. There are several diving schools, where you can take a diving course. If you are practiced, there are wonderful places under water, especially near the port of La Herradura, Marina del Este.

Paddling with a rented kayak to the caves (Cueva de las Paloma) and bays in the Cerro Gordo is also an unforgettable sensation. The area with a mountainous hinterland is ideal for sporty cyclists.

In calm seas, the bay of La Herradura is the domain of paddlers and surfers. In the middle of the village is a Dutch board rental company. Dolphins are regularly spotted in the bay.

Moreover, La Herradura is a hiker's paradise. The beach is 2.5 kilometers long, but also in the Cerro Gordo, the nature reserve it is beautiful to walk. The coastal walk from La Herradura to Almuñecar via the El Camino de los Pescadores offers unforgettable sea views. Anyone who has booked a table at the restaurant Los Geraneos on the Plaza de la Rosa in Almuñecar after this walk will have the day of their lives.

La Herradura is also a great base for day trips by car. The beautiful Granada with its Alhambra is only an hour's drive from La Herradura. But closer there are beautiful white villages, such as Competa, Frigillana, Lentegi and Nerja (with the Balcon of Europe) to visit.

Restaurants, beach, bars
Great offer, authentic Spanish, with chirinquitos where you can rent beach chairs at normal prices. Our favorite 'mesons' are in a brochure that is in the apartment. In the province of Granada, in many bars and mesons, the tapas are free with the drinks.

Our keyholder Jesus from Turiguest receives our guests on site, hands over the keys to Casa P and is a source of information. In reviews it is rated with a 9.
