In this apartment no sagging mattresses, no "nice frills" to fall over and no equipment that urgently needs to be replaced. You enter a spacious, modern apartment in excellent condition and realize that your holiday is off to a great start.

Our holiday home is a quietly located, luxury apartment between the beach and golf courses. Less than ten minutes by car from the fashionable Marbella. Via the private path three minutes walk from the beach, via the public road five.

The house is ideal for golfers, snowbirds and young families who want to leave the crowds behind.

You enter the apartment through the pedestrian entrance of the urbanization or from your reserved parking space in the parking garage. The spacious (93 square meters of interior space, 14 square meters of indoor covered patio and 14 square meters of indoor terraces), luxury apartment is located on the ground floor.

Through the hall you reach the sitting room and the kitchen with separate utility room.

The apartment is equipped with climate control (combined air conditioning and heating). Next to the kitchen, which is equipped with all appliances, such as a dishwasher, is the utility room with washing machine and dryer.

The 40 inch HD television has two channel packages: about 20 Dutch channels (Canal Digitaal) and a wide range of international channels, such as the main English, French and German channels. The smart TV has an extra HDMI connection and three UBS ports. There's netflix.

The sitting room has sliding doors that give access to a covered, indoor patio and a terrace. The terrace and patio are also accessible with sliding doors from the master bedroom.

Patio furniture is provided (two sun loungers and a table with four dining chairs).

The master bedroom with its own bathroom can be closed off from the rest of the apartment. The second bedroom also has its own bathroom. Both bedrooms have two individual beds.

Both bathrooms have underfloor heating, a sink, toilet and bidet and are equipped with thermostatic bath/shower taps. One bathroom has a large walk-in shower (90 by 170 cm), the other has a bath with shower.

Urbanization Alicate Playa is located 35 minutes by car from Malaga airport.

The urbanization is built under Moorish architecture. There are beautifully landscaped gardens around the complexes.

In these gardens is the swimming pool with a shallow children's area.

Within walking distance you will find a large, cozy tennis complex / fitness center with lounge terrace, bar and restaurant (royal tennis Marbella).

In addition to its fashionable beach life, Marbella is known for its many golf courses. The urbanization is located between Marbella Golf and the beach. In the very close vicinity are Santa Clara Golf and Rio Real Golf. The Costa del Sol has more than fifty golf courses.

As a change from golf, you can relax on the beach. On this sandy beach you can make use of high-quality catering. You can rent beach beds and umbrellas. There is a private path to the beach.

Also within walking distance you can do your holiday shopping in El Rosario. There are also several restaurants there. After five minutes in the car you are at some large supermarkets.

After ten minutes in the car you will find a (very) large shopping center "La Cañada".

At a distance of 6 kilometers you will find the historic center of Marbella. In this authentic, atmospheric part you will find narrow streets, churches, squares, terraces and excellent restaurants. A visit to the many kilometers long boulevard is also recommended. The fashionable entertainment center of Puerto Banus can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Both Marbella and Puerto Banus offer ample space for your car in the parking garages. You can park for free on the edge of the city and walk to the center via the boulevard.

For an afternoon out, you can go to Málaga with the Picasso Museum, the famous harbor and the cozy center with countless eateries. At a somewhat greater distance are Granada, with the Alhambra, Cordoba with the famous mosque and Seville with its many highlights.

In addition to beach life and golf, walking and cycling is becoming increasingly important in the Marbella area. A bicycle/walking path (la senda litoral) along the beach has been under construction for several years now. Eventually this will be 180 kilometers long and will connect all the boulevards of the western Costa del Sol. The wide path is built close to the sea and in some places hangs almost above the sea. At Mijas you can take a nice walk on this path. You can cycle many kilometers to the west from Marbella center on la senda.

A similar path hangs from the rocks above the sea and above cliffs near Málaga. This six-kilometer "King's Path" (el Camenito del Rey) is an incredible feat of architecture and must therefore be booked months in advance for a walk.
