In 2019, we and the children decided to exchange the cold Belgium for it
warm Andalusia and settle in the bustling Alhaurin El Grande at a stone's throw from the costa del sol.
In 2021 we bought the house next to us and thanks to the help of our good friend Daniel who was able to convert everything into this beautiful holiday home "villa mariposa".
We receive our guests as we would like to be received on holiday , being hospitable , respectful and helpful .

These prices include: water - WiFi - bed/bath and swimming pool linen, electricity with a maximum of 25 kW per day, the rest to be settled with the deposit.
For stays longer than a week, bed and bath linen are changed on Saturday.
cancellation policy:
If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will no longer use the rented property, he will still owe the full rental price.

A 30-minute drive will take you to the center of Mijas Pueblo. the drive from Mariposa to Mijas offers beautiful views of the valley and the costa del sol. Park your car in the "aparcamiento Mijas", is a spacious, clean parking in the center of Mijas and costs only 1 € per day.

the king's path was for years the most dangerous hiking trail in the world!! Now it has been completely restored and you can walk this path completely safely. In the meantime, this has become an unmissable tourist attraction for which you should book your tickets online in advance.
