Rincon de Castilla

Cozy spacious holiday home with large enclosed garden (750m2) on the edge of a quiet village, just a 10-minute drive from the beach and 10 km from the historic city of Tarragona. With private swimming pool, air conditioning, free high-speed internet (fiber optic), games, luxury kitchen with all appliances and outdoor kitchen with BBQ.

The house is divided as follows. You enter the site through an iron gate on which the name of the house Rincon de Castilla is stated. The mulberry tree provides enough shade to park the car in the shade. First of all, there is a terrace in front of the house with room for 6 people. You have a beautiful view over the garden with various fruit trees (lemon, orange, lime, grape) and you can see the sea in the distance. The Peruvian pepper tree and Yucca tree provide wonderful shade. The entire site is fenced, which guarantees privacy.

From the terrace you enter the living room with cozy seating area, fireplace, air conditioning, table, TV for streaming (Chrome), extensive DVD collection for young and old and a cupboard with games, books and crockery. There is fast and unlimited WIFI via its own fiber optic connection. The downstairs bathroom has a sink, toilet, washing machine, drying rack, ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner, first aid box. Next door you will find the kitchen with all necessary equipment and direct access to the outdoor kitchen with terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped. A gas stove, electric oven, refrigerator with large freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle, citrus juicer, mixer, toaster, pans, dishes, etc. The outdoor kitchen has a sink with tap and built-in BBQ. The terrace has a large permanent stone table and benches for outdoor dining. This outdoor table is covered and provides sufficient shade. There is solar lighting for cozy sitting in the evening. Adjacent is a lawn under large trees. The garden is illuminated in the evening with colorful solar lamps. Via a spacious staircase (two flights of stairs) you reach the top where the 3 bedrooms and the bathroom are located. The antique bedroom with a double bed is the green room. The other two rooms have 2 single beds each. In the white room, the two single beds can be made into one large bed upon request. This room has a balcony with a beautiful view over the hills and the sea in the distance. All bedrooms have air conditioning. A baby bed and toddler chair are available if desired. The recently renovated bathroom upstairs has a shower, toilet and sink. There is shower foam, shampoo and a hairdryer. There are various towels and the bedrooms have bed linen. Next to the house is a spacious terrace with a recently renovated swimming pool (saltwater) of 7x5 meters with easy entry. There is an outdoor shower (heated) and several sun loungers. There are also various beach equipment available (parasol, mats, children's toys) and the table tennis table can be used. All hot water in the house is generated via solar collectors on the water tank on the roof. All windows have been renewed with double glazing and mosquito netting to keep pests out when the window is open.

The house is located inland in the hills surrounded by forest area (Els Boscos de Tarragona), just above Tarragona. You can be on the beach in just 10 minutes. Ideal area for walking, mountain biking and other sports such as golf, tennis, padel and horse riding. A beautiful golf resort with 18 holes is located 5 minutes from the house. In the other direction you can reach a riding school in less than 5 minutes. "Centre Hipic de El Catllar".

Tarragona is a beautiful Romanesque city. The atmosphere resembles what Barcelona used to be. Very relaxed. Beautiful streets to wander in. Delicious food. Reus is the birthplace of the world famous Gaudi. This city is small and sophisticated. It is certainly worthwhile to visit the Gaudi Experience in the center. Cambrils is a nice little fishing village where you can eat the most delicious fish. The famous seaside resort of Salou is located below Tarragona, half an hour's drive away. There is a swimming paradise Aquapolis and a large amusement park Port Aventunura.

Reus Airport (Ryanair via Eindhoven) is a short 15-minute drive from the house. Barcelona Airport (KLM-Transavia) is a 50-minute drive away.
