A wonderful holiday home on the Costa Dorada

The Costa Dorada is located in northeast Spain. Starting just south of Barcelona, this coast goes all the way down until the River Ebro. The Costa Dorada boasts stunning, extensive beaches, inviting seas and delightful temperatures. Like most of the other Spanish Costas, the Costa Dorada is the perfect destination for a wonderful beach holiday. Famous resorts like Salou and Sitges draw a stream of tourists all the year around. Other resorts, such as Sant Carles de la Ràpita and Vilanova I La Geltru are popular with those in search of sun, sea and sand. However, if you venture inland, there’s still much to keep you busy. The splendid Santa Maria Cathedral in Tarragona ranks amongst the main attractions. In other words, there are plenty of reasons to book a holiday home on the Costa Dorada. From group accommodation to long term rental, with Micazu, you will always be in direct touch with the owner, so you know exactly where you stand.

Costa Dorada: a sea of attractions

Besides stunning beaches and a vibrant nightlife, the Costa Dorada has many lovely surprises in store. Visit the Caves of Meravelles in Benifallet, the Romantic Museum in Sitges and the Roman ruins in Tarragona – included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Costa Dorada even has its own ‘wetlands’: the Delta de l’Ebre nature park, an extraordinary nature reserve with bays, dunes, sand banks, lagoons, rice paddies and river islands. The park is also home to many species of birds. Don’t have time to visit it all? Then make your way to Catalunya y miniatura in Torrelles de Llobregat. This open air museum depicts Catalonia, the region that comprises the Costa Dorada, in miniature.
