The area
The villa is located in a green wooded area with direct access to hiking and mountain biking trails. In the immediate vicinity are cozy villages, old towns, the most beautiful beaches and golf courses. There is plenty to do for everyone. You can eat delicious tapas in Palamos, grab terraces in Calonge and Sant Feliu de Guixols, taste local wines at one of the wineries in the area or visit the beautiful cities of Barcelona, Girona and Figueres. You can enjoy the sun and the sea on one of the many beaches nearby, such as Sant Antoni de Calonge, Platja d'Aro, Platja La Fosca, Playa El Castell. For golfers, there are no less than 7 top courses with all 18 to 36 holes available within a 30-minute drive. Of course it is also wonderful to take a dip in your private pool and to BBQ in the garden.
The villa
On the terrace, which is directly adjacent to the living room, you look out over the sea, the bay of Palamos and the village of Calonge. The villa is built in a characteristic Spanish style, but has recently been completely modernized and equipped with every luxury. So you can enjoy your holiday to the fullest!
The detached villa has 2 floors. On the ground floor are the living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the first floor is the 4th bedroom.
Ground floor:
- Cozy and modern living room with spacious sofa, armchair, coffee table, dining table for 8 people, fireplace.
- Spacious open kitchen with bar, equipped with all conveniences (large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave, coffee machines (nespresso and filter), kettle and toaster.
- Utility room with washing machine, extra sink and pantry.
- 1 bedroom (master) with double bed (180 x 200), built-in wardrobe, air conditioning.
- 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90 x 200), fitted wardrobe, air conditioning.
- 1 bedroom with bunk beds (90 x 200), built-in wardrobe, air conditioning.
- 2 bathrooms, both with walk-in shower, toilet and sink.
- Large - partly covered - terrace with dining table for 8 people and cozy seating.
- For small children, it is possible to close off the terrace so that they cannot go to the garden and pool independently. The gate at the location of the outside staircase can be locked by a key.
First floor:
- Bedroom with 2 single beds (90 x 200), closet, air conditioning.
Garden:
- Fixed outdoor BBQ with picnic table for 8 people.
- Lounge set and hammock under veranda.
- Private swimming pool (size 11m x 5m) with 8 sunbeds. Depth rising from about 1.0 meters to about 2.0 meters.
- Carport and separate driveway (otherwise plenty of free street parking).
- Trampoline.
- Table tennis table (to be booked separately)
- Around the house are several fruit and palm trees.
Details:
- The windows in the bedrooms and bathrooms are equipped with mosquito nets, so you can open the window in the evening without mosquitoes entering.
- Arrival and departure on Sundays is in principle not possible. Ask us about the possibilities.
- The house is located on a dead end road, so you are not bothered by through traffic.
- Smoking in the house is not allowed.
- Pets are not allowed.
- No rental to young people under 30 years of age.
- Electricity, gas and water are included. However, if you use more than average, these extra costs will be passed on to you.
- Swimming pool is cleaned 1x per week.
- Swimming pool is lockable for small children by means of a gate with lock.
- Please note that the swimming pool is closed from November to April. Ask about the possibilities if you want to use the swimming pool during this period.
- WiFi speed: 100 Mbps.
- You will receive the keys to the house at the office of our local representative (in Sant Antoni de Calonge)
- They will contact you about a week before the day of arrival to prepare your arrival.
- Tourist tax is payable on site to our local representative.
- Beds are made on arrival.
- An iron and ironing board are provided.
