Around eight o'clock, the conversation on the terrace falls silent for a moment. Then the sun sinks behind the resort and the sky above the pool colors.
That's what you come back for.
The terrace is 25 square meters, faces southwest and overlooks the water. It catches the sun all day. Lounge area on one side, dining table on the other. Breakfast outside, the newspaper, and in the evening you stay there until it is dark.
THE APARTMENT
CasaBlanka is located on the brand new Lagoons Village Sport and Wellness resort in Torrevieja. Ninety-nine square meters, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, sleeps up to four people.
The apartment is on the first floor. There is an elevator, so no stairs with suitcases.
Inside it is bright and quietly furnished. Large windows, an open layout, and the living and dining room run directly onto the terrace. Air conditioning in all areas, fast wifi, smart TV.
THE KITCHEN
The kitchen is composed by a chef. In practice, that means: good knives, pans that don't burn out, spacious worktops, modern appliances. Enough to really cook and not just to heat something up.
There is a washing machine and a dryer, plus a drying rack and an ironing board. Practical if you stay longer.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
The master bedroom has a king size bed and blackout shutters. You sleep in until you wake up, even in July.
The second bedroom has two single beds and also blackout shutters, suitable for children or for guests. Both rooms have ample wardrobe space.
Two modern bathrooms, both with walk-in shower.
THE RESORT
Access to the communal gardens, the swimming pools and the full sports complex is included. That means several outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool, jacuzzis, fitness, tennis, padel and a wellness center.
Your own parking space is part of it. Also included.
ON ARRIVAL
Our local team will receive you personally at the apartment. Keys, explanations, and the questions you hadn't thought of yourself.
After that, it's yours. We are not the type of landlord who comes by.
During your stay we are available for practical questions, and there is a separate number for urgent matters. You reach a person, not a PO box.
THE AREA
Lagoons Village is close to the Lagunas de La Mata and Laguna Rosa Natural Park, with flat cycling and walking routes around the salt lakes. The water turns pink in the right light.
La Mata beach is 3 km away, Habaneras shopping center is 1.2 km away. The International Auditorium of Torrevieja is nearby. Restaurants, supermarkets and the center are a few minutes drive away.
Alicante airport is about forty minutes. A taxi costs around 60 to 65 euros and we are happy to help arrange.
There are several golf courses within a short drive.
WHAT THIS APARTMENT IS NOT FOR
This is a quiet residential resort with quiet times from 23:00. No parties, no groups that go on until late. If you are looking for excitement and a beach club around the corner, then you are in the wrong place.
If you are looking for peace, space and a terrace where you can linger, then you are in the right place.
Furthermore, to be honest: the apartment is on the first floor, so it is not on the ground floor. The elevator solves that for most guests, but we prefer to say it in advance rather than afterwards.
