We are the Fietjé family and have been coming to Spain for quite some time and in recent years in Torrevieja. We bought the penthouse in December 2019 and is completely renovating it. You have a beautiful view over the adjacent park and the coastline. The resort has three swimming pools in the beautifully landscaped and well-maintained garden. The resort is only accessible to residents and your car is nice and cool in the underground private parking.

Additional information

Swirling coastal city on the Costa Blanca (Spain) Torrevieja (Valencian: Torrevella, means the old tower) is a seaside resort located on the Mediterranean Sea, more specifically on the Costa Blanca, 41 km south of Alicante in Spain. Torrevieja is the perfect holiday resort in south-east Spain. It is 30 km² in size, has about 20 km of coast and has more than 91,000 inhabitants. Torrevieja is a long region known for its beautiful beaches and salt lakes where many flamingos reside. The boulevard is very pleasant and has many tasty restaurants. Nice place to retreat with a cup of coffee is at the small tavernas around the cathedral.
Murcia is a city with history, but with a very modern character. The city is also known for its innovativeness and creativity. Among the historic buildings you will find special architectural delights. Murcia offers a lot of culture and beautiful faces. Murcia is known for the many bridges over the river, take a walk along the different bridges and be surprised by the many different styles.
San Pedro del Pinatar is located on the Mar Menor, a salt lake on the Costa Blanca and owes its fame to the salt production and the medicinal mud baths. During the summer months you can see people on the beach of Lo Pagan who rub themselves with mud and then let themselves dry in the sun. Then they bathe in the sea. The water here contains a lot of iodine. People with joint complaints or skin problems indicate that these treatments reduce the complaints.
Guadelest is a beautiful village with an unprecedented beautiful view of the area. The castle of Guadelest (El Castell de Guadelest) offers a nice insight into life in the past in this unique place. From the castle you get a beautiful view over the mountains, the reservoir and the village itself.
Located in Busot, these limestone caves form a beautiful collection of irregularly shaped caves with stalactites and stalagmites.
Most people who fly to the Costa Blanca don't see more of Alicante than the airport. A pity, because the city itself is certainly worth a visit. The central point in the city is formed by the Explanada de España, a beautiful pedestrian boulevard surrounded by lots of greenery. In Alicante is the Castillo de Santa Bárbara, a castle that sits on top of Monte Benecantil. The castle can also be reached by lift.
This botanical garden is one of the best of its kind and is located in the beautiful town of Elche (Elx). A famous tree in the Palm Park is the Imperial Palm. An overwhelming piece of nature in a piece of interior of the Costa Blanca, do not forget to visit the culture museum.
If you drive along the Costa Blanca and pass Calpe, you cannot miss this gigantic cape. Penyal d'Ifac (Peñón de Ifach) towers over the Mediterranean Sea at a height of more than three hundred meters. Those who like a brisk walk can walk up in just over an hour. The ecological conditions on the rock are different from the rest of the Costa Blanca. The photographers grab this mountain early in the morning or late in the afternoon for the perfect picture.
It is there that the Algar River cascades down in great waterfalls, cascading along rocks that form beautiful natural pools. Under the name 'Les Fonts de l`Algar', this whole area is a nature reserve and therefore protected. Callosa is also an agricultural area where loquat or nispera is also grown, the local yellow or orange fruits. Besides the waterfalls, there is more to see in the nature reserve. Enjoy the lush Mediterranean fauna and flora. For example, there is an arboretum or tree garden, open to visitors. Add to this the constant murmur of the waterfalls, which is particularly relaxing… (In addition to the waterfalls, there is also a Dino park for the little ones)
Tabarca is an island off the coast of Santa Pola and belongs to the province of Alicante. Tabarca is a narrow, 400 m wide and 1800 m long island. The island has been officially inhabited since 1768, before that it was mainly used by pirates who used the island as a shelter. The name used to be known as “ilsa Plana” which means flat island, when in 1768 a group of 300 Genoese prisoners of war was sent there, the island was renamed “isla Tabarca” after the island of Tabarka off Tunisia where the prisoners of war came from . The island is easy to visit by boat. There is a boat from Alicante and Santa Pola, the trip from the port of Santa Pola takes 15 minutes and for the boating enthusiast there is the boat from the port of Alicante which takes 50 minutes.
Fancy a vibrant city atmosphere? As a Mediterranean city, Alicante offers a great day trip. You can stroll in a summer atmosphere, with a wide range of terraces and sights! Take a pleasant stroll along the pleasure harbor and stop at the market stalls or street performers. The charming squares and historic buildings are beautiful to see in the old town. The Natural Harbor is Spain's main naval port, with large modern docks, wharves, an arsenal, and a submarine and torpedo factory. Cartagena was founded as Carthago Nova in the 3rd century by the Carthaginian general Hasdrubal. In the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) it was in the hands of the republican government until the very end. A visit to the city should start at the harbor that Admiral Nelson called one of the safest in the Mediterranean. The Sea Wall, or Muralla del Mar, commissioned by the Spanish King Charles III, runs along the harbor and shelters the old city center. At the end of the wall is the original prototype of the submarine. The beautiful park "Parque de Torres" is only a few minutes walk from the center. Here you will find peace and a beautiful view of the city, the harbor and the surrounding area. The church of Santa María Vieja and the ruined Castillo de la Concepción go back to Roman times. In the Archaeological Museum you can see finds from the Roman period and ceramics from the Moorish period. Cartagena offers beautiful architecture and has an extensive range of shops and good restaurants.
