From Polop you can reach numerous sights, beaches, nature reserves, sports facilities and picturesque villages in 15–20 minutes. This makes the villa the perfect base for an active holiday.

📍 Location

Villa Solana is located in Polop and is very much appreciated for its central location. Just a 15–20 minute drive away you will find many beautiful sights and coastal towns. The house is 40 min from Alicante airport. Valencia airport is 150km away. 


🎯Activities & surrounding

  • Cycling: The region is known for its beautiful and varied cycling routes. For experienced cyclists, tours to Calpe, the Coll de Rates or Lake Guadalest are highly recommended.
  • Hiking: There are numerous hiking trails and nature parks in the area. You can enjoy beautiful panoramas and impressive views. The Algar waterfalls, the lighthouse of Albir, the Peñón de Ifach (rock of Calpe), the Mascarat gorge, the Ruta Ecológica, or the Sedero Azul are just some of the beautiful places where you can hike. 
  • Sports: In the extensive sports and recreation center Camilo Cano in La Nucia (3 km from the villa) you can go for a padel internship, tennis, athletics, swimming, football and fitness. Golfers will find several golf courses in Benidorm and Altea.
  • Fun with children: There are several amusement parks in the area, including Terra Mítica, Dino Park Algar, Terra Natura (zoo) and water parks Aqua Natura and Aqualandia. Ideal for a day out with the whole family.
  • Culinary enjoyment: In the region you will find a wide choice of restaurants where you can enjoy local Spanish cuisine, tapas bars and fresh Mediterranean dishes.
  • Beaches: A fifteen-minute drive away you will find the sandy beaches of Villajoyosa or Benidorm, and the charming pebble beach of Altea with clear blue water.
  • Local markets: In the area there is a market with fresh products or a flea market almost every day. On Sundays you will find markets in Polop and La Nucia.
  • Picturesque villages: In the vicinity you will find several charming, typical Spanish villages that are definitely worth a visit. The white coastal town of Altea is known for its attractive old town with narrow streets, boutiques and beautiful views over the bay. Situated against the hills, picturesque Polop offers cosy squares and viewpoints. Guadalest, one of the most beautiful mountain villages in Spain, is also recommended with its castle, narrow streets and impressive valley and lake views.
  • Shopping: La Marina shopping centre is about a 15-minute drive away. For daily shopping there are several supermarkets in the vicinity.
  • Enjoy tranquility: Villa Solana is an oasis of peace. The ideal place for a day of relaxation by the pool, with views of the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

Hello, we are Kevin and Lore from Belgium. We love an active holiday, but also the peace and quiet. Our house in Polop is the ideal base for trips to Guadelest, Altea or The Algar waterfalls. But also to cycle to Calpe or play padel in the large sports center of La Nucia. Because we can't always be there ourselves, we would like others to enjoy this beautiful spot between the mountains and the sea.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Cancellation policy

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge

In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.
