Welcome to our holiday home Casa Jeta!                                                                    


Casa Jeta is a beautiful holiday villa with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms all on the ground floor. There is enough space for 6 people. The beautiful  garden of more than 500 m2 is equipped with a large private swimming pool of 4 x 10 meters and offers complete privacy. You can  enjoy the sun all day long on various terraces. Under the pergola, just next to the outdoor kitchen with BBQ, it is good to relax in the shade and you can enjoy a delicious meal. The Casa is equipped with all comforts: Air conditioning (2025) in every room, high-speed internet at no extra cost, a large BBQ and sunbeds outside, comfortable beds and an extensive range of kitchen utensils.

In addition, there is a closed, private covered parking space for your car. In the area you can walk and cycle to your heart's content. If you like peace and quiet and still want to look for the hustle and bustle when you want to, then Casa Jeta is a wonderful place to celebrate your holiday.

Casa Jeta is located in Hondon de las Nieves (province of Alicante) a 30-minute drive from Alicante airport and a 35-minute drive to the beaches near Alicante. La Montanosa is a beautiful urbanization in the Hondon valley in the interior of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. La Montanosa is a beautiful residential area of more than 400,000 m2 with 450 independent villas, located in a green and fertile valley and surrounded by vineyards, pine forests and with wonderful views of the mountains of the Hondon valley.

Hondón de las Nieves is a beautiful village. There are several old buildings, including the town hall and the beautiful church. On the village square there are several restaurants where you can eat delicious food without exception, yet the holidaymakers will lack nothing. The modest market on Wednesdays and Saturdays immediately gives you the Spanish holiday feeling. In Hondón you will find several shops, small supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, hairdressers and 3 bodegas. In these bodegas you can taste wine from the barrel and buy it for unprecedented low prices. (see also (*CONTENT HIDDEN*)) A tasting in one of the bodegas is an absolute must for those who love good wine.

Just half an hour's drive away you can reach the coast with its beautiful beaches, the famous seaside resort of Torrevieja or Santa Pola with various water sports facilities. Elche, famed for its handsome palm park (a legacy) is well worth a visit with a 20-minute drive. This palm park is the largest in Europe and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Around Hondón de las Nieves there are beautiful vineyards, almond trees, olive trees, and a very variety of flora and fauna. Various walking routes have been set out in this beautiful area. The area is also ideal for a bike ride. Every season the landscape shows different colors!

After staying in Moraira for 7 years, we started looking for our own place. We ended up in the area of Hondon de las Nieves. The peace, the landscape and the space of this typical Spanish environment appealed to us enormously. The level of amenities, comfort and safety of La Montanosa were the deciding factors to buy this casa in January of 2024!
Because we still like to work in the Netherlands for the time being, we would like to share the casa with you for a very nice holiday!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If, for whatever reason, the tenant cannot, does not want to or will not accept the leased property on the agreed date, he must immediately notify the landlord. A telephone notification of this must always be confirmed to the landlord in writing or by email.If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period up to 6 weeks before the start date of the rental period, he will continue to owe 30% of the rent; in case of cancellation up to 4 weeks 40% and from 2 weeks to the start date of the rental period 50%. If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

Fantastic cycling routes in the area.
From Casa Jeta you can walk straight into the hills with fields of pomegranates, figs, almond and olive trees on the left and right. Of course not to forget the many vineyards!
Since 2025, we also have two e-bikes at our disposal and you can cycle around Pinoso, for example, by bike. Getting your groceries by bike is also very possible. There is a cycle path to Hondon de las Nieves and you can cycle to the village in peace.
Hondón de las Nieves is a beautiful mountain village in the Crevillente mountains, less than half an hour's drive from Alicante. The ideal place if you love the authentic Spanish life and you have the hustle and bustle of the coastal towns and the city within three quarters of an hour.
Just half an hour's drive away you can reach the coast with its beautiful beaches (the photo is at the beach of El Pinet), the famous seaside resort of Torrevieja or Santa Pola with various water sports options.
Bodegas Cerdá was founded in 1885 as a family business. It is a restored centenary building, where noble materials such as wood and marble predominate. The company has a large museum where unique pieces are exhibited. The store is more than worth a visit!
The winery offers tours and guided tastings accompanied by tapas.
Of course there are several options along the Alicante wine route.
The church building was designed by engineer José Sala Sala, a former student of the Spanish architect Antonio Gaudí.
