Casa Norte
is located on the fourth floor (elevator) just outside the center of Guardamar. The apartment is suitable for 4 people and there is a spacious lockable balcony. There are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. 

Guardamar del Segura
Guardamar del Segura is a Spanish family seaside resort with about 17,000 inhabitants. Forests, dunes, the best beaches make Guardamar an attractive beach holiday destination all year round. Restaurants and shops are plentiful. 

Climate and beach
There is a typical Mediterranean climate, with cooling sea breezes in summer and protection from the cold north winds by the surrounding mountains in winter. The area has almost 3,000 hours of sunshine per year. It is therefore suitable for hibernators. The clean and safe beach has the Blue Flag quality mark.

Location of the apartment
Casa Norte is located just behind the dunes of Guardamar in a quiet neighborhood. A supermarket is a  two-minute walk away. The center, marina and beach are also within walking distance or a 5-minute bike ride away. 

The accommodation
From the apartment you have a view of the mountains. The living room is equipped for 4 people. Wifi and air conditioning are available. There is satellite TV with extensive NL channel package (Ziggo-sport, Film 1, ESPN, etc.).  
The balcony can be completely closed off by means of sliding windows. Here is the dining table. Ideal for a nice breakfast or to play a game. Various board games and reading books are available.
The kitchen is equipped with ample storage space, an electric hob with extractor hood, a coffee maker, a fridge-freezer and a microwave. 
Both bathrooms have a sink and a toilet. One bathroom has a bathtub. The other bathroom has a walk-in shower. Towels and pool towels are provided. 
The bedrooms each have a double bed. Bed linen and towels are provided. The beds are made when you come. 
In the utility room is the boiler, the washing machine and the cleaning supplies. 

Activities

Walk
Guardamar itself, the beach and the boulevard and the dune area are very popular walking areas. Park Reina Sofia is a park with a water feature with turtles, ducks and peacocks. The park is ideal for an evening walk with the night market and the fair for the little ones nearby. Every Sunday there is a Spanish flea market at the foot of the castle on the other side of the N332, which can be reached on foot via the tunnel. The weekly market is on Wednesday. 

Cycle
In the hinterland of Guardamar you cycle in a quiet, flat and rural environment to other villages in the area, e.g. to visit the weekly market of Rojales. In the autumn along the oranges. A bike ride through the dunes to the beach or the port of Guardamar is also worthwhile. The bike ride to Rojales takes you along the Rio del Segura. We can provide two women's bicycles and a men's bicycle for you (specify when renting).

Beach
The beaches of Guardamar are vast (18 km of beach!), clean and safe. The sandy beach slopes very gently into the sea, ideal for the little ones. There is supervision by the first aid. 

Shopping and cities
The range of shops in Guardamar is wide, all year round. The best large shopping centers in the area are La Zenia (near Torrevieja, 12km) and L'Aljub (near Elche, 20km). For the shopaholics, a visit to one of these modern shopping malls is an absolute must. Torrevieja, Elche, Alicante and Murcia are typical Spanish cities, where the authentic Spanish atmosphere has been preserved. For those who want to go a little further, the old port city of Cartagena is an hour's drive away and is a city worth seeing with many remains from the time of the Moors. 

Eat
The number of (fish) restaurants in Guardamar is uncountable. From very simple to very exclusive, everything is there. The quality of the food is usually good and so cheap that you can hardly cook for it yourself. For a Menu del Dia you pay about € 11 at many restaurants . In addition to various tapas, you sometimes also get a free drink with it. Just make sure you get the Spanish daily rhythm. The Spaniards don't eat at 6 o'clock....  

Sports
For the sports enthusiast, Guardamar offers numerous possibilities in the field of water sports (diving, surfing, sailing, boating), tennis (park in Guardamar), golf (more than 10 golf courses in the region), swimming, mountain biking, sport fishing, etc. Due to the climate and mild temperatures in winter, Guardamar is a frequently used place for a training camp. Professional cycling teams use Guardamar and the surrounding area as a base for their training rides. The quality of the roads is good and the mountains are less than an hour's drive away.
