Casa la Sorpresa is set against Montesano Mountain in the typical Spanish village of Sanet y Negrals. In the summer a refreshing sea breeze blows and in the winter you enjoy the micro climate that prevails. With 300 days of sunshine a year you can enjoy pleasant temperatures all year round. From the house you have a breathtaking view over the Orba valley with numerous small villages, orange and almond plantations. At 6 minutes walking distance you are in the center of Sanet y Negrals where you can do your daily shopping at the bakery, the local shop or the butcher. On Saturday morning you get your fresh fruit and vegetables on the market. There is also a pharmacy, a restaurant and 3 bars, of which the Placa bar is most centrally located on the square. If you sit here under the floral splendor of the Bougainville you look out over the Jeu de boules court, the basketball court and a large communal swimming pool. Less than 10 minutes by car is the large shopping center Portal de la Marina where you can find all the important fashion brands but also a beauty specialist, sports store, two large supermarkets and different restaurants. Within 15 minutes by car you are in Denia, a city with numerous terraces, restaurants and bars and a vibrant nightlife. Denia has a beautiful marina and you can also take the ferry to the Balearic Islands daily. You can be in Ibiza in 2 hours. Denia has 8 km. sandy beach, very wide and suitable for water sports. The beaches have generally been awarded the European Blue Flag for their quality, clean water and fine sand. Javea is a 30-minute drive away, where you can also find beautiful pebble bays and idyllic beach bars. Sanet y Negrals is located exactly between the airports of Alicante and Valencia, both a 1-hour drive from Casa la Sorpresa. So you can choose which flight is the most convenient for you and you have the option of alternating a relaxing stay in the house with a day trip to a major Spanish city.
