Casa Gallinera

La Vall de Gallinera is located below Valencia, far from the mass tourism of the Costa Blanca. On the route of the 8 villages is Benissivà and on the outskirts of the village, next to the church, is Casa Gallinera. The rural house restored in 2000, with panoramic views of the Umbria mountain range, has a beautiful swimming pool that can be used almost all year round due to its orientation. The house is therefore extremely suitable for groups of 14 to 24 people. Ideal for a family gathering, the perfect wedding location and also inspiring as a workation for companies and above all a wonderful holiday home.

Casa Gallinera is a casa rural with 9 spacious rooms, including a luxury suite and a family room, decorated with taste and details, all equipped with air conditioning, central heating and private bathroom. Excellent mattresses and you don't need a mask because it's pitch dark and dead quiet:  Everything for a good night's sleep.

There is a kitchen with cooking facilities, including a microwave, a minibar and a real pizza oven that can be fired with wood, make your own pizza with your children, how cool is that?! There are fridges and coffee and tea is free.

You can retreat to our lounge, in winter nice and warm with the stove and a good book from our library. In the summer you can cool down here. Authentic stoves, high ceilings with wooden beams, extensive library, board games, patios where you can have breakfast, surrounded by beautiful and well-kept plants, various seating areas for reading and the unbeatable view musically accompanied by the birds.

A swimming pool with sunbeds and various sitting areas, a cooling patio, an orchard 11,000m2 and private parking suitable for 9 vehicles. In the village of Beniali at 5 min. you will find 2 electric charging stations.
Oh yes and every morning I take care of your breakfast because everyone is entitled to a good and healthy relaxed breakfast to start the day.

The Vall de la Gallinera consists of 8 small and charming towns that you should definitely visit. There are several restaurants in the area serving local and traditional cuisine. The bakery is within walking distance for delicious sweets and savoury local snacks.

There are many route options that are a big draw for hikers. La Forada mountain is a must when you're here, breathtaking vistas all the way to the sea. Activities to do: (mountain) hiking, cycling, rafting, horseback riding, wine tastings and more. Or you can visit Valencia, a 1.5-hour drive away, with its museums and old market and city center, among other things.

There are also places of interest in Guadalest and Altea. Or you go to the beach in Oliva or to one of the many bays on the coast of the Costa Blanca. The city of Alicante allows you to enjoy yourself and there you can visit the island of Taberna. And at the end of the day you will come back and you can enjoy peace and quiet at the pool with a view and listen to the birds.

Casa Gallinera is located in a quiet and nature reserve. It is therefore not possible to build "parties" and/or barbecue. There is Wifi but no TV, so relaxing!

A "casa con encanto" or as some say: even more beautiful than in the pictures. From 2024, Madelena de Rooij will be the new owner and I would like to welcome you to my paradise. Because the real secret is the unspoiled interior with a view of the mountain La Foradà, where you can still enjoy serene tranquility and a quiet life.
