Monte Molar, Altea L'Olla

More about our apartment, location and facilities
The apartment is located on one of the smaller, idyllic mountains of Altea, namely Altea L'Olla. The beach is less than a kilometer away as the crow flies and can be reached both on foot and by car. And if you walk a little further, you will already find the first restaurants, beach bars and the popular boulevard of Altea. You will find no less than 6 km of cozy bars, cafes and restaurants. The boulevard is also on the beach and ends in the harbor.

The complex
The apartment is located in the small-scale apartment complex Monte Molar (approx. 21 apartments). The complex is known for its charm, tranquility and great location. The real Spanish siesta life immediately overwhelms you upon entering. An oasis of calm, but one that is desirable rather than uncomfortable. Want more excitement? No problem! You will find this a few minutes away.

The apartment is on the ground floor. From the terrace you can walk straight into the garden or to the swimming pool. The complex has a large swimming pool, sunbeds, covered sunbathing area, outdoor shower and beautifully maintained garden. You have your own parking space, which is also located in front of the door. This way you don't have to lug your suitcases, locally shopped tapas snacks or beach beds! The complex is secured by a gate.

In Spain, siesta applies, so also in our complex. This means that in high season the swimming pool cannot be used between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. In the low season it is perfectly possible to cool off or swim a length, as long as other guests/residents are taken into account and there is no nuisance.​

Living room and terrace
Due to the location of the apartment, the living room is a nice place to spend the hot afternoon hours or read a book in winter. But this is just as good on the terrace! You can easily create shade and coolness here on hot summer days, and enjoy the necessary hours of sunshine in the winter.

The living room is fully equipped and has a sitting and dining area, television with many foreign and Dutch channels, free WiFi, air conditioning and electric ceiling fans.

Bedrooms
The apartment is suitable for 4 people and has two bedrooms: one master bedroom with a double bed (box spring mattress) and a bedroom with two single beds (with toppers). The apartment is therefore not only ideal for couples, but also for families. And hibernators beware: the extra bedroom is also nice as a place to sleep for passing family members. Because they are of course welcome!

Both bedrooms have enough storage space, a roller shutter, air conditioning and electric ceiling fans. There is also a safe in the master bedroom.​

Bathroom
The bathroom is heated (infrared lamp / heater also present) and equipped with a spacious walk-in shower with rain shower, wide washbasin with a large mirror, toilet, bidet and hair dryer.

Kitchen and pantry
Spanish life naturally calls for long evenings out, countless tapas snacks and matching wines. Rightly so! But the kitchen in itself should not be the reason you leave the house. If you want to prepare a fresh paella or a good piece of meat yourself, you will not be missing anything. The kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, oven/grill, large combi fridge, freezer, dishwasher, tea maker, coffee maker (Dolce Gusto), sandwich maker, etc. In the pantry you will find the washing machine, ironing board, iron and foldable beach beds and parasol! You can use this.

Environment
Altea is located on one of the nicest Spanish Costas, namely the Costa Blanca. There is a lot to see, do and visit in the area. In addition to nice villages and towns such as Alicante, Albir, Benidorm, Villajoyosa, Calpe, Denia, Javéa, Moraira, you will also find bustling Valencia at just over an hour away. There is no shortage of fine sandy beaches, lively, idyllic town centers and amenities. Both young and old can enjoy themselves here for a long time. Thanks to the pleasant climate, Altea is also the ideal base for winter visitors and golfers. There is a golf course in Altea itself, but also in Benidorm and Benissa.
