The oldest Romanesque castle is located near Loarre, in the pre-Pyrenees.
Zaragoza also has a beautiful old center, including Roman bridge and ruins. There is a parking garage under the cathedral of El Pilar, right in the center and on the Ebro River. Distance to Huesca is less than an hour's drive.
