Casa Marlo is a spacious, cozy holiday home with beautiful sea and mountain views. You will feel right at home!

Located in the small but lively village of Cómpeta in southern Spain close to Málaga. Fantastic walking environment! Many restaurants, cafes, shops with very friendly, cheerful Spaniards.

With space for up to 6 people, there is more than enough space for couples, families, friends and small groups.

Casa Marlo has a total of 4 bedrooms with very comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms, 2 with bath, two dining rooms, two fully equipped kitchens and two large terraces, one covered and one sun terrace.

Everywhere in the house and on the terraces there is access to a free, FAST WIFI CONNECTION.

We have several rooms where you can stay.

We have a spacious living/dining room downstairs with a cozy kitchen with refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, new hob, etc. Here is AIR CONDITIONING.

Both the downstairs and upstairs kitchen are fully fitted kitchen with new appliances and new cooking utensils. You'll find everything you're looking for here, including quite a few spices. The upstairs kitchen is located near the outdoor terrace where you can enjoy a delicious meal.

In addition, we have a separate television room so that you can watch a movie together or alone without disturbing others.

We also have a room that we call "café" (because the furniture is reminiscent of a café) where there is a CD player with all kinds of CDs. You can also work there quietly if you want to. Here too you can enjoy the AIR CONDITIONING.

We have a large bedroom on the first floor, with air conditioning.

We also had AIRCO installed in the bedroom on the second floor.

The terraces are spectacular in terms of views. With the mood lighting above the table, you can enjoy the outdoors until the wee hours.

Practical information:

Casa Marlo is located 42 km from Málaga Airport and 13 km from Nerja, a luxurious, cozy seaside resort where you can enjoy delicious food. Nearby villages that are worth a visit are Nerja, Maro, Salobreña, Motril or the most beautiful white village of Frigiliana with its beautiful flowers and plants. Or you can go to Ronda with many beautiful buildings and cozy streets. For a city tour we recommend the cozy Málaga and of course Granada with its beautiful culture and the famous Alhambra. But the best of all is Cómpeta itself! Cozy streets, all small shops, there are many activities in the village, beautiful views and friendly people. It is a very lively village!

Hi, I'm Marlene. I bought this fantastic house in Cómpeta with my husband Louis. We have had a lot of renovation done and are proud of the result.
It is a spacious, very cozy house and fully equipped.
There is beautiful nature, sun and tranquility. But also hiking in the mountains, swimming, scouring small shops, eating tapas, horseback riding, tennis, sports and good food. This is possible in Cómpeta and everything is very affordable. Dancing to live music by local musicians every week.

In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

Cómpeta is a real white Spanish mountain town located at 600 meters altitude. Easily accessible from the Costa del Sol via a safe road with beautiful views. The town offers delicious wines from the region and various activities for the whole family. You walk through narrow streets between the white houses with various mosaics, you can rest on beautiful benches in intimate places, where you can learn about the history of Cómpeta, which even goes back to the ancient Romans. You will come across many small shops in the narrow, car-free streets. You imagine yourself back in another time. Casa Marlo is located right in the center of Cómpeta in a narrow street. Two minutes walk from the pleasant square near the church with 3 cafes/restaurants, but still quiet in the street. There are currently 15 eateries in Cómpeta and several cafes where you can eat delicious tapas. Each cafe has its own specialties. The town is called "the pearl of Axarquia". It is characterized by the narrow, atmospheric streets with cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. A unique experience to walk through! You will fully enjoy this if you walk through narrow, atmospheric streets, on cobbled streets between whitewashed houses. Cómpeta is built against the mountain, adjacent to the Sierras de Tejeda y Almijara nature reserve. The village rises above everything at a height of more than 600 meters, which ensures breathtaking views over the Mediterranean Sea, mountains and other natural beauty.

Cómpeta is a lively and charming town with only white houses. There is plenty to do. It is a town where many Spaniards also live and work, which makes it an authentic place. Cómpeta has 15 restaurants and cafés, generally very affordable and very tasty! We have learned to appreciate Spanish cuisine more and more. But first eat tapas in a café at the end of the afternoon, so nice to share! Our house is a 2-minute walk from the main square, where you will already find three restaurants and cafes. The people in Cómpeta are extremely friendly and always want to help you. There are many small shops, with food, clothing, trinkets, wine taverns, ceramics, etc. There are various entertainment venues for young and old, with live music. You can play tennis, padel, bowling, take a music lesson or yoga lesson, etc. and there are two swimming pools. A beautiful swimming pool with palm trees at the hotel, where you can treat yourself to a cocktail. The other pool is a large municipal pool. The beach is a 25-minute drive from home, at Algarrobo Costa. Cómpeta borders a nature reserve where you can enjoy walking in the mountains. Several group walking tours are offered from the Netherlands. Every weekend there is a live performance in "La Carpintería", a large, cozy bar. There you can, if you want, dance and enjoy the music! There is an art gallery in Cómpeta, which organizes an art route every year in the various neighboring villages.
