Right in the center of sunny and lively Cómpeta you will find Casa Almachar in a quiet street. The house has a roof terrace with a beautiful view towards the sea. The 3 room house has a living room, kitchen, dining room, bedroom, bathroom with shower, toilet, sink. Of course there is also WIFI, a washing machine, hot water and heating (radiators), making the house also suitable for a multi-week winter stay . In the kitchen you will find next to the cooking zone: Kettle, Nespresso, toaster, refrigerator, microwave, hand blender, kitchen utensils. Don't feel like cooking yourself? Cómpeta has about 20 (tapas) bars and restaurants where you can eat very affordable. ( 3 course daily menu incl drink approx 10 euros)

The lively Cómpeta is very centrally located in the beautiful Axarquia region with its cute whitewashed villages and beautiful cities such as Malaga and Granada. Beaches and chiringuitos are a 35-minute drive away. The village itself has many narrow and steep streets (often with stairs) in which you can see the Moorish influences, the street to the house is no exception. These authentic steep streets give the village a lot of charm and tranquility. For whom steep stairs and streets are a problem due to health reasons or mobility issues, I do not recommend a stay in this area (as well as in this house, which is part of this area). Nearby are several squares with restaurants, tapas bars and bodegas, shops. The house is located in a small side street of Calle Panaderos where you can buy fresh bread rolls daily at the bakery for a delicious breakfast. Cómpeta is a village with many amenities. There is a large heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool, you can go to yoga and pilate, tennis, sports and training, there are mountain bikes for rent, you can go to various managements for horseback riding through the nature reserve, there are supermarkets, banks, hairdressers, pedicures , a medical center, etc. From surrounding smaller villages people go to Cómpeta for the fun and facilities that a somewhat larger village has to offer. Autumn, winter, spring are the best times for walking in the natural park. Cómpeta has 320+ days of sunshine per year.
