Casa El Mirador is located on a hilltop above the typical white mountain village of Arenas, in Andalusia. Our beautiful house offers fantastic 270 degree views of the mountains of the Sierra Tejeda National Park, the Mediterranean Sea, several white mountain villages and on clear days even the Rock of Gibraltar and the African coast. Sunsets are often enchanting.
Casa El Mirador is located in the heart of La Axarquia, a region in Andalusia known for its mild, very sunny, microclimate. Winters are less cold and summers less warm. The average temperature  in the summer months is around 30 degrees. With an average of 320 sunny days per year, it is the sunniest region on the European mainland.

The house, suitable for 6 people, offers a beautiful enclosed Mediterranean garden with privacy and a heatable private  swimming pool. It is the perfect place for people who want to enjoy a relaxing holiday in a quiet place, but who would also like to look for the busier entertainment. The lively beach of Torre del Mar on the Costa del Sol,  is only 25 minutes away. Vélez-Málaga, the capital of La Axarquia, is a 20-minute drive away and the old town of Málaga is about 50 minutes away.

The house was equipped with new furniture in 2022 and lovingly decorated with numerous colorful accents. The Casa has a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen and a living room with lots of light. The living room overlooks the swimming pool, the mountain landscape, the sea and the coastline of Málaga. The house has 3 bedrooms, each with a spacious king or queen size bed and a nice view. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with toilet. There is also a comfortable second bathroom with bath, shower and toilet and a separate guest toilet. In addition, the house has a beautiful conservatory that connects to the veranda with sliding glass doors. Both the conservatory and the living room are very suitable for enjoying enchanting sunsets during cooler evenings in the early and late season. All rooms, kitchen and conservatory are equipped with AC.

The veranda adjacent to the conservatory provides additional shade and contains a Moroccan dining area with palms, cacti, agaves and colourful flowers gas-BBQ.In the  well-kept Mediterranean garden. The garden has several seating areas to enjoy the beautiful views and often breathtaking sunsets.

Heated swimming pool
The pool is heatable. Pleasant swimming is therefore also possible in the early pre-season or late post-season.  By the pool is a large terrace with thatched umbrellas and sunbeds. The comfortable sunbeds are also very suitable for enjoying the fantastic sunsets, and later the beautiful starry skies.
