Casa Julia is a beautiful villa for 6 people with swimming pool located in its own orchard in the southern Spanish province of Andalusia. Close to the village of Alora and just over half an hour's drive from Malaga center and the easily accessible Malaga Airport.

The Spanish details and the beautiful view over the mountains immediately give you the feeling that you are in a special place.

The house and the surroundings offer the opportunity to experience a very varied holiday. For example, the El Chorro nature reserve and the famous Caminito del Ray are nearby, but a trip to Malaga center or the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol is also within reach.

In addition to vacation, Casa Julia is also particularly suitable for remote work, (racing) cycling or to organize a retreat. It has good WiFi and space to use as an office.
The house is located on a mountain slope with an area of 2 hectares of land. Here you will find lemon trees, olive trees, almond trees, orange trees and fig trees.

Layout
Ground floor: A spacious hall, a living room with wood stove, 1 double bedroom with bathroom. The downstairs bedroom has air conditioning. A fully equipped kitchen and adjoining dining room with patio doors to the outside.
The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge and freezer, as well as a large stove with oven, but also with a filter coffee machine, milk frother, juicer, mixer and bread machine.

First floor:
2 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with a double shower. One of the two bedrooms has a spacious double canopy bed of 180×200 cm. Adjacent to this bedroom is a spacious balcony with a view over the mountains. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be pushed together as desired. Here you will find extra long beds with a length of 210 cm. Both bedrooms, as well as the landing, are equipped with air conditioning.
The outdoor area around the house has terraces with several dining tables and a spacious swimming pool of 8 x 4.5 meters. The depth of the pool goes from 1 to 2 meters and has an easily accessible staircase.
Adjacent to this pool is an extra outdoor shower.

A new path has been created “Caminito de los Amantes” that offers the possibility to partially walk the mountain behind the house. This gives beautiful views over Alora and the adjacent mountain areas.

My name is Floris and we have owned this beautiful Spanish villa since 2013 and have completely renovated the house into our dream home. We host the house from the Netherlands, but we also like to visit there ourselves. Wonderful place to relax.

lora: Álora is a typical inland, Andalusian mountain town with Phoenician, Roman, and Moorish roots. This town has a very important and rich past. Well worth a visit. On Mondays there is market Antequera: The lesser known, but no less beautiful, Antequera is only a 35 minute drive away (30 km). This city offers a rich history, shops, gastronomy ... Just outside the city you will find El Torcal and the Lobo Park. e 3 reservoirs el Conde del Guadalhorce, el Guadalteba and el Guadalhorce: These 3 elongated azure reservoirs extend over 3 municipalities (Ardales-Bobbadillo-Antequera) and are located just north-west of the Sierra de La Huma.
