Our holiday home Sao Martinho has a beautiful location with a panoramic view inland. You can see the mountains, villages, fields and farmlands. In the distance you can see the bay of São Martinho do Porto. Our house is sunny and high on the east side of the hill. The west side is the sea side and that is a nature reserve.
The house has several terraces, one of which is the outdoor kitchen. All terraces face the sun and are very private . They also provide the opportunity to find the shade . The whole is built in such a way that you can stay there all year round. In the summer the house has natural air conditioning. In the cooler periods you have the pleasant warmth of the wood stove and the Burnie.
The design house is transparent and light and is very tastefully decorated with beautiful, comfortable details. For example, Portuguese marble has been used . In the large living room you will find a sitting area, a wood stove and a cooking island, open to the terrace with the outdoor kitchen. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with good box-spring beds, mosquito nets and a large terrace. The bathroom has a bath with shower and bidet.
Around the house you will find the terraces with the barbecue in the outdoor kitchen. The garden runs down into the Portuguese landscape. Peace and space in the middle of the real Portuguese life ! Sun, sea, nature and culture in a southern 'Wadden' climate, that is how the owner describes this place in Portugal. Because the climate along the ocean is mild, with a lot of oxygen!
