The location of this special authentic village of Foz do Arelho offers a great opportunity for various types of water sports, such as (kite) surfing in the lagoon or on the Atlantic Ocean and/or swimming, windsurfing, supping, sailing (sailing school at the lagoon). , fishing and canoeing in the Obidos lagoon, which offers a calm and shallow alternative, also great for young children. Surf school is located in the village.
Around the lagoon and along the ocean you will find beautiful walking and cycling routes. Bicycles can be rented in the village. At 7 km. distance is Caldas da Rainha, with a variety of supermarkets, nice shopping streets, the daily vegetable market, museums and a beautiful park in the middle of the city.

There is also a sufficient range of courses for the golfers among you; West Cliffs Golf Course and golf course Praia D'el Rey (European golf resort of the year 2007) are a 25-minute drive away and the Golden Eagle golf course is located in the nearby Rio Maior.
