Quinta Japonesa is a holiday spot on 3600m2 in a beautiful and quiet valley with heated pool and a large zen garden. There are 4 accommodations (2 apartments and 2 safari tents) on the main site and another 2 (holiday home and safari tent) on the upper terrain at the top of the hill. Each accommodation has its own entrance and private parking. Quinta Japonesa is centrally located on the Costa de Prata. Lisbon and Coimbra can be reached in 1 hour and 15 minutes. And in between are fantastic sights to visit. Also the beach is only 20 minutes drive away from Quinta Japonesa. And what do you think of the delicious restaurants in the neighborhood. In short, a holiday residence where everyone from all ages to enjoy.

Casa Matsu is a luxury safari tent. Because of its location you will experience a lot of privacy, peace and space, with a great view over the green valley. Casa Matsu has 3 bedrooms, a living / dining room with kitchen and a bathroom. It has a large terrace at the front of the tent with a lounge set, sun loungers and a picnic table. Outside the summer months Casa Matsu can be heated with a gas stove. Casa Matsu has a private entrance for the car and a private parking space next to the property.

We would like to introduce you to this beautiful piece of Portugal, between Lisbon and Coimbra, only 20 minutes from the coast. We have holiday apartments, luxury tents and a holiday home available for you. Custom holidays are also possible. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE*
WIFI, heated swimming pool (300m away from the accommodation downstairs on the main grounds, parking, towels (change of towels will take place mid-week.) bed linen, kitchen linen, bed making.

* For long stays (longer than one month) different conditions apply.

PAYMENT
We ask for a deposit of 50% of the total sum with a minimum of 100 euros to be paid within 1 week after the booking to finalize the booking.
The remaining amount can be transferred up to 2 months before the stay.

CANCELLATION
When cancelling the booking, the costs up to 60 days before the stay are 35 euros, being the reservation costs. If you cancel between 60 and 30 days before the stay, the costs are 25% of the rental costs.
In case of cancellation between 30 and 20 days before the stay, the costs are 50% of the rental costs.
If you cancel between 20 and 10 days before the stay, the costs are 75% of the rental costs.
If canceled within 10 days before the stay, the costs are 100% of the rental costs.

-Sao Martinho do Porto 30 min (calm sea, beach, promenade, eating / drinking, hiking, biking, shopping).
-Alcobaca 35 min (Monastery tour, food / drink).
-Bombarral (Buddha Buddhist eden park, most of europe, wine quinta Sanguinhal, food / drink).
-Batalha 40 min (cathedral, Aljubarotta presentation of the battle 'batalha')

-Eilanden/boottocht To Berlengas, beautiful nature (boating, hiking, food / drink and beach) just half an hour by boat from Peniche to book through Quinta Japonesa.
Qigong-Training, a kinematics with gentle movements such as tai chi to come into balance, private lessons / group / training tours are given at Quinta Japonesa. Again completely

For many years, we are very interested in anything that has to do with Japan. Bert likes to read about the period of the first Dutch in Japan. Our house in the Netherlands had already Japanese decorations. Coincidentally, Portugal and Japan had a band even though many centuries ago. The first contact took place in 1542 when three Portuguese came ashore after their boat was hit off course. On April 19, 1600 the Dutch ship "Love" landed with only 25 men on board off the coast of Japan. Since then, the Dutch still (trade) relations with Japan maintained, even during the period when Japan was isolated from the rest of the world. Himself entirely From 1641 the VOC had a post on the artificial island of Deshima and was the only foreign body that could deal with the Japanese and 250 years. Our interest in Japan and the ties that both Portugal and the Netherlands have thus made that we have chosen. Named Quinta Japonesa As seen in the photos we have not rebuilt the Quinta on the outside in Japanese style, but according to the houses in the region. Inside we have various Japanese features provided in the apartments. There is also a Japanese-style garden with torii gate, pond, waterfall, stone bridge, wooden bridge, stone staircase, pagoda and a fantastic view over the valley.
