Quinta Japonesa is a holiday spot on 3600m2 in a beautiful and quiet valley with heated pool and a large zen garden. There are 4 accommodations (2 apartments and 2 safari tents) on the main site and another 2 (holiday home and safari tent) on the upper terrain at the top of the hill. Each accommodation has its own entrance and private parking. Quinta Japonesa is centrally located on the Costa de Prata. Lisbon and Coimbra can be reached in 1 hour and 15 minutes. And in between are fantastic sights to visit. The beach is only a 20-minute drive away from Quinta Japonesa. And what do you think of the delicious restaurants in the neighborhood. In short, a holiday residence that everyone can enjoy from young to old.

Casa Cha is a luxury safari tent with a view over the zen garden and the green valley. Casa Cha has 2 bedrooms, a sitting room. Full kitchen right next to the safari tent as well as the shower, sink and toilet. Large terrace at the front of the tent with lounge sofas, bean bags and parasol. There is a terrace at the side of the safari tent with sun loungers. Outside the summer months Casa Cha can be heated with a gas stove.

We would like to introduce you to this beautiful piece of Portugal, between Lisbon and Coimbra, only 20 minutes from the coast. We have holiday apartments, lodge tents and a holiday home available for you. Custom holidays are also possible. Think of the themes culinary, golf, castles, (half) marathon, water sports, mountain biking, relaxation / cures and Zhineng QiGong training. We are Michelle and sons Mika (2007) and Rick (2011). Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE*
WIFI, heated pool, parking, towels (change of towels will take place mid-week.) bed linen, kitchen linen, bed making.

* For long stays (longer than one month) different conditions apply.

PAYMENT
We ask for a deposit of 50% of the total sum with a minimum of 100 euros to be paid within 1 week after the booking to finalize the booking.
The remaining amount can be transferred up to 2 months before the stay.

CANCELLATION
When cancelling the booking, the costs up to 60 days before the stay are 35 euros, being the reservation costs. If you cancel between 60 and 30 days before the stay, the costs are 25% of the rental costs.
In case of cancellation between 30 and 20 days before the stay, the costs are 50% of the rental costs.
If you cancel between 20 and 10 days before the stay, the costs are 75% of the rental costs.
If canceled within 10 days before the stay, the costs are 100% of the rental costs.

For many years, we are very interested in anything that has to do with Japan. Bert likes to read about the period of the first Dutch in Japan. Our house in the Netherlands had already Japanese decorations. Coincidentally, Portugal and Japan had a band even though many centuries ago. The first contact took place in 1542 when three Portuguese came ashore after their boat was hit off course. On April 19, 1600 the Dutch ship "Love" landed with only 25 men on board off the coast of Japan. Since then, the Dutch still (trade) relations with Japan maintained, even during the period when Japan was isolated from the rest of the world. Himself entirely From 1641 the VOC had a post on the artificial island of Deshima and was the only foreign body that could deal with the Japanese and 250 years. Our interest in Japan and the ties that both Portugal and the Netherlands have thus made that we have chosen. Named Quinta Japonesa As seen in the photos we have not rebuilt the Quinta on the outside in Japanese style, but according to the houses in the region. Inside we have various Japanese features provided in the apartments. There is also a Japanese-style garden with torii gate, pond, waterfall, stone bridge, wooden bridge, stone staircase, pagoda and a fantastic view over the valley.
