Villa Cabana is located less than 200 meters from the ocean, in a quiet area surrounded by a large garden with a spacious pond. Here you can enjoy the impressive view of many kilometers in your easy chair. The modern villa is located on one of the highest cliffs of the Portuguese coast. For a walk or a day of sunbathing, go to the child-friendly beaches (with lifeguards) of Foz do Arelho or São Martinho, which are 4 km away.
The available space in the house is about 130 m2 and the garden is over 4000 m2 and has several terraces, equipped with tables, chairs and umbrellas.
Due to the location of the villa, the temperature is always pleasant, it does not get warmer than about 28 degrees. There is always a shady spot under the mature trees.
Barbecuing by the fire of the outdoor stove makes the stay even more romantic.
On the other side of the road is a nature reserve that extends to the ocean; From the house you can also make beautiful walks.
In addition to walking (a Grande Randonne route runs past the house) it is possible to kite, golf, foil, and windsurf, there are 3 beautiful golf courses (18 holes), hang gliding and mountain biking. The lagoon of Obidos is the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe and is a beautiful nature reserve with many birds. You often see flamingos and ibises. There are also many characteristic towns to visit such as Obidos (medieval fortified town), Caldas da Rainha (center municipality with all amenities), Alcobaça (largest monastery in Europe), Tomar (the monastery Convent de Christo), Fatima (the place where Mary appeared to 3 shepherd children and has become a place of pilgrimage with a beautiful modern cathedral). For a day trip, Lisbon can be reached within an hour.
Almost every town has a daily and/or weekly market, which are definitely worth a visit. There are fruit, vegetable and fish markets, but also a bric-a-brac and antique market can be found nearby
In the house is extensive tourist information
The caretaker of the house lives 50 meters away and is always available for questions or emergencies.
