View from Sintra to Cascais. Outside the hustle and bustle of the city of Sintra, there are many beautiful walks to do. Drive up the mountain from Cascais or Pisão. Park at Peninha and walk in the magical forest.

Opening hours ticket office station São João do Estoril. Recommended because the ticket machines are very complicated!
Guincho trails. In Guincho there are several trails to do from short to long.
After a walk, it is wonderful to settle down at Bar of Duna da Cresmina. Coffee, lunch and drinks at sunset. Starting point of mountain bike trails and hikes.
Well-kept secret of locals: praia dos Galápos or Galapinhos. 45 min. drive. difficult to access. Difficult parking (go very early!). But so nice!
Bosque do Livramento, a beautiful park with picnic tables and playground at 2 minutes walk. Ideal to go with small children.
