In Alfarim you can find a number of shops, bakery, butcher, bank, post office and supermarkets. In Sesimbra you can find a number of fish/seafood markets. The region has a number of excellent wine cellars that you can visit. Wine, cheese and the small tortas are the specialties of the region. Sesimbra is very well known for its restaurants that serve fish and shellfish.
