Private pool and sea views.Very easy to reach (just 50 minutes drive from Porto International Airport) this villa is 4 km away from the white sandy beaches of Caminha, a charming traditional Portuguese fortified border town steeped in history, where several battles took place were fought between Portugal and Spain.

Today this town has much friendlier relations with its neighbor and there is a daily ferry connecting the two banks of the river. On a small island in the middle of the estuary are the ruins of the fortress of Ínsua, built to defend the entrance to the river in the fifteenth century.The sands of Vila Praia de Âncora (10 minutes from the villa) stretch extends from the fishing port to the Âncora River which reaches the coast here after a 15 kilometer descent through the hills of Serra de Arga, an attractive natural environment with some good walking conditions.

This huge beach experiences some strong Atlantic waves, which means high quality surfing. This city is also known for the variety of good seafood and fresh fish restaurants.
