Casa Padaria 1 (loft)

Casa Padaria I, we call a  loft, because it is actually 1 large room, spread over 2 floors. It has a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, which is in open connection with the living room and kitchen which are located on the 1st floor. From the living room you enter a very spacious terrace with a beautiful view over the valley and the sea in the distance. 

Casa Padaria was originally a house with a detached guest house. Now the house is divided into 2 double units.   Upon entering, go down a small staircase to the left towards the sleeping area and straight ahead take the stairs upstairs, where the living room is located under the sloping roof. 

The property has been completely renovated and modernized and has been available for rent since spring 2026. The ground floor apartment (Padaria 2) has its own entrance, through the veranda of the house. 

The large terrace (32 m2) is the luxury of this house, with an outdoor shower, which will provide great cooling in the summer months.  The beautiful view is a gift at any time of the day. Two lovely sun loungers and a pleasant table with chairs for outdoor dining. 

The house is adjacent to the back of Casa do Alto. You can go to the reception of this nice boutique hotel/bed & breakfast, if you have any questions. They take care of the cleaning and maintenance of the apartment for us. You can use the swimming pool here in the summer season (April-October) provided that you have your breakfast or lunch there. In the winter months (November - March) you can also use the swimming pool in consultation, but breakfast or lunch is served. 

The kitchen is fully equipped. A spacious fridge with freezer compartment, an oven with microwave function. An induction hob with extractor, a dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, juicer, hand blender, plenty of crockery. 

The air conditioning, both in the living room and in the sleeping area, provides cooling in the summer, and excellent heating in the winter. 

This fine holiday accommodation is ideal for a long-stay, wintering here is really fine, but it can also be booked for a short holiday. If you want to spend the winter, we offer a long-stay discount in the months of January, February and March:  5% for stays from 2 weeks, 10% for stays from 3 weeks, 15% for stays from 4 weeks and 20% for 6 weeks or longer. This is a discount on the prices mentioned in the overview.
