Casa Padaria Loft has a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, which is in open connection with the living room and kitchen which are located on the 1st floor. From the living room you enter a very spacious terrace with a beautiful view over the valley and the sea in the distance. 

Casa Padaria was originally a house with a detached guest house. Now the house is divided into 3 double units.  We call this unit a loft, because it is actually 1 large room, spread over 2 floors. Upon entering, go down a small staircase to the left towards the sleeping area and straight ahead take the stairs upstairs, where the living room is located under the sloping roof. 

The property will be completely renovated and modernized in 2026 and will be available for rent from spring 2026. The ground floor apartment has its own entrance, through the veranda of the house. The guest house is separate from the house and is not yet rented out. 

The large terrace (32 m2) is the luxury of this house. At the time of writing this story, the finishing touches are being put on the outdoor shower, which will provide cooling in the summer months. The beautiful view is a gift at any time of the day.

We are Coen and Bettie, we have had a house (Casa Pedra de Agua) in this authentic village, Vale Judeu since 2003 and have been the owner of these 2 double holiday units for some time now. (Casa Padaria 1 and 2) Vale Judeu is located just outside the busy, touristy area. Here you can feel the peace and quiet and the rural life that the Algarve also has to offer, but in 10 minutes you are at the coast with a choice of various seaside resorts, golf courses and everything the Algarve has to offer...

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

DISCOUNT if you stay longer than 2 weeks (see overview per period). If you rent 2 or more units at the same time: 10% discount. 

Cancellation policy

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

  • In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
  • In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
  • If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

This is our street, our house is almost at the end of this dead end street.
Lovely bright living room, with two comfortable armchairs.
Television with access to NL sees, for the Dutch channels.
Nice details, such as this niche and the thick walls have been preserved

Equipped with dishwasher, nespresso machine, kettle, juicer etc...
The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob with integrated extractor and a combi oven-microwave

Spacious bed (180 x 200 cm) can also be split into 2 beds of 90 x 200 cm.
