Welcome to our luxurious thatched villa (completely renovated in 2019)! Residence de Banjaard is located at the bottom of the dunes of the North Sea park.
Our family home has a lovely spacious living room downstairs, with a sitting room with electric fireplace, dining room, open kitchen and patio doors to the garden. The villa is equipped with extensive WIFI, Apple airport express (including Netflix) and 2 televisions. The luxurious kitchen is fully equipped, such as a combination microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, pfas-free pans, etc.
In the spacious hall, you will find access to a large storage room with washing machine and dryer, the toilet and a second bathroom (walk-in shower and sink). On the top floor there are three spacious bedrooms, two rooms with a double bed consisting of 2 single Auping box-spring beds and one bedroom with 2 single Auping box-spring beds and a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower with rain shower, bath, toilet and a large washbasin.
Outside you will find a spacious garden with various seating areas (6 persons) and 2 comfortable sun beds. The garden was renovated in 2021 and has a garden house with a covered veranda with heater.
Our wonderful holiday home is a 600-meter walk (7 min.) from Banjaard Beach, the most beautiful and cleanest beach in the Netherlands (2023 and previous years). You can enjoy walking, sunbathing and relaxing at the Beach Pavilion. From a distance you can see the Oosterscheldekering.
You can also enjoy sailing or take a boat trip on the Veerse Meer (10 min. cycling) or spot seals in the Oosterschelde.
Enjoy cycling in Zeeland, for example to Veere, Vrouwenpolder or Domburg, is also possible. You can also cycle along the Oosterschelde to Colijnsplaat. A beautiful route.
For excursions in Zeeland you can drive to Goes, Middelburg, Vlissingen and Zoutelande in 20 minutes to half an hour by car. It is also nice to go to Zierikzee. A visit to Neeltje Jans is also worthwhile.
Even when it rains or in autumn and winter, Zeeland has a lot to offer. For example, you can relax in the nearby Thermal Baths of the Fletcher Hotel with wellness, hot tub, sauna, etc. These facilities are not located in our house, but about 500 meters away from our house.
There is a lot to do for children at our Noordzee Residence de Banjaard park. There are various playgrounds, an indoor swimming pool, mini golf and a play paradise at the restaurant. Of course they can also play on the very child-friendly Banjaard beach.
