Child-friendly
Our holiday home is located in a former orchard. The park is quiet and spacious. An ideal location for small children. In the park there are various playground equipment, a swimming pool and a tennis court.
Westerschouwen forestry
In the immediate vicinity are beautiful beaches and forestry Westerschouwen. For a stay on the beaches you can choose from conviviality, safety (swimming supervision rescue brigade) and plenty of catering establishments. And there are beaches for those seeking peace and quiet. All within a short distance of the holiday home.
There are many walking and cycling paths in the Westerschouwen forestry. The mountain bike route is one of the most beautiful routes in the Netherlands. Recently, there is also a spectacular climbing forest. With a bit of luck, you will encounter a group of deer during your walk.
Middelburg, Zierikzee and Vlissingen
Do you like more activity? Then the villages such as Zierikzee, Veere, Middelburg are a must. Vlissingen is unique with the boulevard. In no place in the Netherlands do the large ships sail so close to the coast.
Outdoor sports
Schouwen Duiveland and the other Zeeland islands have cycling and walking junctions. This way you can plan your own route and possibly sail to the other islands with a bicycle ferry. Or enjoy the many water sports opportunities on and around the Oosterschelde National Park.

A supermarket and a bakery about 2 kilometers from the holiday home. In Burgh Haamstede there are several bicycle rental companies and cozy restaurants.
