Our apartment, in which we lived ourselves, is located in the heart of Zoetermeer.
During our occupation we have constantly searched for the optimal layout so that our house became a home. The house is therefore more than just a holiday home. All the interior carpentry was created in collaboration with the eldest son's carpentry business.
When you open the front door, sunk into the facade, you enter the small entrance hall that gives access to the stairs to the apartment at the back.
On the first floor you will find a bedroom, the living room and the kitchen.
The cozy bedroom has a built-in wardrobe, a sitting area and a double bed. The materials, lighting and colors used, which provide a modern, warm and rural interior, make you feel right at home.
The living room, connected to the open kitchen, is equipped with a fireplace and a bay window. Of course also a television, wifi, cozy sitting area and atmospheric lighting. The arched ceiling gives the whole a unique atmosphere. From the bay window, at the front, one looks at a ditch and lots of greenery.
Past the breakfast bar we enter the kitchen which is equipped with all built-in appliances such as a dishwasher, freezer, microwave and oven. The cooking is done in ceramic under the extractor hood.
On the second floor we find the bathroom and the second bedroom. The bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower, double sink and toilet.
The second, and largest, bedroom is an en-suite room. Here too a built-in wardrobe, double bed, television and a cozy sitting area. Through the window at the front we look back at the ditch and greenery.
Because we have been looking for an optimal cozy layout over time, the whole ensures that people immediately feel at home. Everything clearly shows that owner Hannie has been able to live it up.
Due to the location of our house, public facilities such as train and bus, shops, restaurants, theater and cinema are within walking distance. The city center and residential heart are also within a five-minute walk.
Our house is ideal for trips in all directions for those who want to use Zoetermeer as a base to get to know the central and western Netherlands. The North Sea, for example Scheveningen, is 16.8 km away.
The Hague even closer, Rotterdam (29 km), Amsterdam (45 km), Delft (18 km), Utrecht (47 km), Leiden (8.4 km), Gouda (15 km). Just to name a few. And all easily accessible by public transport.
For information about these cities, we refer to the internet with the search term "tourism ..and then the city name".
Possibilities for recreation are nearby, the North AA beach, the Rottemeren (rent a bicycle), the golf course, various parks and forests or Snowworld. Further away you can think of the beach, the dunes (walking, cycling, horseback riding)
