Complete house for 2-5 people in a great location in Noorden / Nieuwkoop directly on the Nieuwkoopse Plassen, Natura 2000 area, view of breeding locations of spoonbills, egrets and seagulls. Various seating areas in the 900 m2 garden, the garden offers complete privacy and wellness.

The house is 150 m2 and has a living room of 70 m2 with designer furniture with open kitchen and on the first floor a bedroom with a double bed of 160 cm wide, an OLED TV and a massage bath, a balcony on two sides, a separate toilet and a double sinks. The view from here over the lake is beautiful. On the ground floor there is a second bedroom with a double bed and a separate bathroom with shower and sink and a separate toilet. Air mattress for 5th guest available. Furthermore, there is an office/laundry room. Parking on site, access via private lockable bridge. Care of some very tame chickens and plants in consultation.

Beautifully situated terrace on the water, great for nature and bird lovers. Breeding colonies of spoonbill and egret can be seen from the garden. Please note, sailing is not allowed in this part of the Nieuwkoopse Plassen. Swimming and fishing from part of the garden is allowed. Canoeing is possible about 100 meters away, canoes, canoe cart (walking/bicycle) available as well as two bicycles. Possibly a 21-foot sloop available at an additional cost, 10 minutes away by car, boat license not required, but some experience is.

Various fishing, swimming, walking, sailing and cycling options right outside the door. Supermarket and several restaurants 1 km away, various shops and restaurants in Nieuwkoop 7 km away. The possible care and watering of some plants must be coordinated. In the garden there is an above-ground swimming pool of 2 x 3 x 0.8 m, a barrel sauna and a hot tub with massage jets and bubbles.

Dear peace seekers,
We are Ilse and Edwin van der Heide and we offer our house. It is a luxurious and recently renovated and expanded home in a beautiful location that we still enjoy immensely, especially in the summer. We enjoy it when our guests also spend a nice time in our house and we do our utmost to prepare everything well, provide information about the region, etc. Outdoor sauna and hot tub complete the picture.

Additional information

There is much to do in the area for peace seekers and nature lovers. At our house there is a whole pile of leaflets and brochures about all kinds of activities you can undertake, but also tickets, an event calendar, etc. Tourists come here primarily for the Nieuwkoopse Plassen and the Mije Grasslands. This means nature and water sports. There are all kinds of water recreation, including boat trips through Natuurmonumenten. It is a unique area in terms of cultural history and nature. In Nieuwkoop there is a charming museum where you can learn how this specific landscape was created and in the same building there is a VVV office (Noordenseweg 23A). There are various events in the region during the summer season. There is a good restaurant base in the area. Two restaurants worth recommending are 't Leeuwtje in Noorden and Tijsterman in Nieuwkoop. In our house are two bicycles available (1 is electric) and two canoes with a canoe cart. There are plenty of hiking opportunities, also from the house. Natuurmonumenten has placed many information boards in the region. If you walk up the Uitweg from our house, after about 100 meters on the left you will find the Pietersepad. This is a nice walk along beautiful water features and halfway through you have to transfer yourself with a small foot ferry. Then you walk through the meadows to the Kromme Mijdrecht and see the Westveenpolder, about four km there and back, unless you take up the challenge to walk a bit further along the Kromme Mijdrecht. If you want to walk, skate or cycle a half marathon, you simply walk around the lake to the left or right and cross the Mijepad that runs right through the Nieuwkoopse Plassen. On Saturday mornings, there is a market on Raedhuysplein in Nieuwkoop with all kinds of fresh produce suppliers. And there are several cheese farms in the area.
