Forest bungalow "Serafina" – Peace, space and nature near Ootmarsum
Completely unwind in Serafina, an attractive and detached forest bungalow in the most beautiful spot of the small-scale park Bij de Bronnen. The bungalow is located on the edge of the park, with a beautiful view over a field and directly adjacent to the forest. Here you only hear the birds, smell the forest and feel the peace.
The name Serafina symbolizes light, protection and harmony. You can immediately feel that atmosphere here. It is the ideal place to recharge, disconnect from everyday life and enjoy the silence, nature and maybe even a touch of magic.
You have a large, green private garden with various seating areas, dining table and chairs and a covered veranda where you can sit, eat or relax – in sun or shade. In the garden and on the field you regularly see deer, rabbits, squirrels and special birds. It is still really dark here at night, so enjoy a clear starry sky too!
From the cottage you can walk or cycle directly into the Springendal – a beautiful nature reserve with hills, streams, fens and old water mills. It is not for nothing that this is also called the Garden of the Netherlands. Nature here is pure and unspoiled. Sometimes you don't meet anyone for hours.
Close to Ootmarsum – now with Michelin star!
Just 1.5 km away is the charming and artsy town of Ootmarsum – the oldest town in Twente and recently awarded a Michelin star as a city, next to Amsterdam and Maastricht. Here you will find cozy streets with galleries, boutiques, restaurants and a beautiful outdoor pool on the Kuiperberg.
Trips to the German border (Bad Bentheim, Gronau) or cities such as Oldenzaal (golf course) and Enschede (sauna Holterhof) are also easy to make. Of course you do your shopping just as cheaply when you are there.
