Our holiday home is located in the beautiful quiet Langeveen located on the German border in Twente. The cottage is nicely decorated and fully equipped. All facilities are on the ground floor. There is a private storage room with washing machine and freezer. You can also park and charge your own bicycles here. The Storage Room is equipped with a large carport to store your car or motorcycles under cover. From the cottage you can walk or cycle directly into nature along the German border. The beautiful picturesque villages such as Ootmarsum, known for its art, and Tubbergen are also within easy reach. So opportunities everywhere!
The area in Twente is full of nature, including the Engbertsdijkvenen, a unique nature reserve in the Netherlands where you can still find rare raised bogs. This quiet, vast peat landscape has an attraction for special plants and animals. It is not for nothing that Engbertsdijksvenen is a protected Natura 2000 area in Europe. Then we have the beautiful Springendal and Dal van Mosbeek. This area consists of beautiful forests, streams and springs. Several watermills can be visited here. From here you can also explore nature by motorcycle. The village of Langeveen itself also has a beautiful heathland area with forests for walking.
