Boshuisje de Larch

In the forest, with a view of the Lemelerberg and Archemerberg, on the quiet bungalow park 't Giethmenseveld, is our lovely (extended) holiday home, with a large private forest garden of no less than 1500m2, amidst hundreds of Larch trees. Whether it's summer or winter, you can always relax here. Dive into the hammock and enjoy the sun, the squirrels or a woodpecker in the garden, take a walk (armed with the binoculars) or read a good book. This while the kids may be playing in the tree house with the walkie-talkies or on the road to the playground with the go-kart. Play a game of Mölkky outside before you start barbecuing. The house is ideally suited for one family (or two small families) with children, of which a maximum of 4 to 5 adults.

Bedrooms
The forest house has three bedrooms, the first of which is equipped with a double bed, the second has a single bed + a loft bed for 1 or 2 children (loft bed has a seat at the bottom that can be transformed into an extra cot) and the third bedroom has a double bed. This means that there are 6 to 7 sleeping places in the cottage, of which a maximum of 5 beds are suitable for adults.

Kitchen and sanitary facilities
The forest house has recently been equipped with a nice new kitchen with nespresso, milk frother, 4-burner induction hob, dishwasher, combi oven, spacious fridge and freezer. There is also a modern bathroom with thermostatic tap and (walk-in) rain shower and separate toilet. Bathroom and toilet are equipped with comfortable underfloor heating (when the central heating is switched on).

Plenty of play
There is plenty to do for the children both inside and outside. In the bedroom there is a closet filled with games and plenty of toys for children from 2 - 12 years old. Outside, you can go into the tree house, swing, go down the slide, in the sandbox or on the trampoline. The walkie-talkies add an extra dimension to the game. There is also a go-kart with which the children can drive around the park. If all that is not enough, the Nintendo WII may still offer a way out.

Wood stove inside, outdoor fireplace and BBQ
Inside is a nice wood stove. Outside, under the canopy, there is a fireplace and a good BBQ with temperature gauge that can be used if the air quality and drought allow it. This is indicated by a green or red sign at the reception.

Cycle
In the shed there are all kinds of bicycles that can be used, see the photo, for various ages, as well as a women's and men's bicycle with a child seat on the back.

TV and fast WIFI
In the living room there is a television with KPN digitenne with excellent reception of about 25-30 channels, a DVD player, all kinds of DVDs and a Nintendo WII. Via the chromecast, you can stream movies and series from your own phone. You can also connect your own devices via HDMI. There is fast WiFi in and around the cottage via its own 4G/5G router with amplified reception. This works less well via your own phone with 4G/5G or hotspot, because there is poor 4G/5G reception within the houses at the park.

Central facilities
The park has a reception with bread service, a heated outdoor swimming pool (with three different pools for different ages, a paddling pool for the little ones too), a tennis court and a playground with a fun cable car. There's also a small library where you can pick up books, DVDs or toys, and a launderette (with washing machine and tumble dryer) for holiday laundry. There are also some picnic tables and benches where the central park WIFI can be used.

The core values of the park (nature, tranquility, privacy) are of paramount importance to us, we also expect this from our guests. The house is still relatively new on Micazu (as of autumn 2023) so it is still growing in terms of number of guests and reviews. Feel free to send a message if you have any questions or want to discuss something about your stay or composition.

The holiday bungalow is located in the woods in Giethmen, in Salland they say Giethem, between Ommen and Lemelerveld, near the rivers Regge and Vecht.
