The unique thing about Callantsoog are the dunes, you only have to cross 1 row of dunes and you're on the beach! There are also beach pavilions on the beach. Strandrestaurant Woest is open all year round.

Nearby are the towns of Den Helder and Schagen. Alkmaar is less than half an hour by car.
